Re: College Football 2017-18: Now with more CTE!

NDSU wins their 6th FCS title in 7 years today defeating James Madison U 17-13. Was anything but pretty as it was a defensive battle from the first minute.

JMU is less than 30 miles from my house and I did not hear anything about this game in the local press. Literally, nothing.

Re: College Football 2017-18: Now with more CTE!

Kendrick Lamarr and a halftime salute to Black Panther at the title game. Betcha the Dumpies will love that! :p

Re: College Football 2017-18: Now with more CTE!

You're thinking of George Mason. JMU is down I-81.

I was at first, true, that's why I changed it from 10 to 30. But it's still close enough the local yokels should have said something about a national title game! (IMO)

Re: College Football 2017-18: Now with more CTE!

LOL. 121 miles. I guess not. :p

Was it JMU or GMU who made the Final Four about a decade ago?

Edit: 2006, George Mason

Mason. My mom got her masters there in the 90s, so it was great to be the one person who knew what it was when they made the FF.

Yeah JMU's a little farther down. Dunno how far but definitely more than 30 minutes from Fairfax.

This game tho. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Re: College Football 2017-18: Now with more CTE!

Haven't been watching. Who gets the ball to start the 2nd half?

Re: College Football 2017-18: Now with more CTE!

Georgia looking much better through the first half. Of course, this only means Alabama comes out screaming and wins 36-16.

Re: College Football 2017-18: Now with more CTE!

Crap. Hoping Georgia got it first so that they would have a potential kill shot at Bama. 20-0 would probably be lights-out.
