Ah Sept. 1st... Tis' a great day for college football reflection. Let us all remember where we were on this date 9 years ago when Appalachian State blocked that lovely FG attempt by Michigan :p

I could only be so lucky to see lightning strike twice as Appy State takes on Tennessee tonight. I'd pay good money to see Knoxville burned to the ground tonight!

Scumbags at Penn State are going to honor their great pedophile protector. Everyone involved should get hit by a bus.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

Either they're doing the biggest FU in the history of mankind,or they lost their flippin' minds.

Lots of Pedo State fans down here. To a man they think the whole thing was an overreaction to "one bad apple" and a playing out of other schools' grudges against Paterno. No, I'm not kidding.

Part of me wants to fly out to that game and fly a Pedo State banner in the parking lot and just document all the enablers losing their **** over the banner. Expose the worst of humanity that exists in Pennsylvania...

Seriously, this is an absolute disgrace. Quite frankly, I'd like to see the board lighten up on the deleting of posts in D-I threads whenever we say "Pedo State". That school deserves no protection of any kind from the well earned harassment that they might get from people appalled that THEY KNEW SINCE THE '70s.

Yeah, definitely. My god, they're all terrible people.

How do you decide which games to use?
I look at the top 25 matchups as well as the Vegas lines for good matchups/games I look forward to watching as a college football nerd.. It's tougher earlier in the year of course and 10 is probably too many games, but just the way I've done this the last few years.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

McCaffery is so good. I feel a little better about the Rose Bowl known my he does that to everyone he plays.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

For the early risers: Ga Tech/BC at 7:30 EDT on ESPN2 live from Baile Átha Cliath.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

I thought MSU's 2012 offense was inept, but it must be truly abysmal to be a BC fan when their team has the ball. Also like MSU 2012, the defense is really exciting to watch. So they have that going for them, which is nice.
