Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

Ego. Do you want to play in the Premier Football League and get the TV $ and media exposure, or in some lesser league that gets next to no coverage?

The alumni will not stand for it!!!

Now, we'd have to chop off about the bottom 10 from that list to make up for some of the private schools not providing numbers: USC, Notre Dame, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Miami, Baylor, Northwestern, Boston College, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, BYU, TCU, off the top of my head, would likely be in that top 60. Though, who knows with Northwestern.

If Minnesota is 14th in spending we clearly need to have much higher expectations of them.

They win games like they're 114th on the list.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

Georgia and South Carolina moved to Sunday due to the hurricane.

Florida refused to move their game to LSU or a neutral site and LSU declined Florida's makeup date because they already have a game with South Alabama, so the game is cancelled. This could work in Florida's favor if they finish 6-1 and Tennessee finishes 6-2 in the SEC.

Nope. Nebraska already went thru being second fiddle to Texas. They aren't going to do that again.

Nebraska would rejoin the Big Eight in a heartbeat, but the Big Ten is far superior to the Big XII
$uperior alright. It's all about the huge $$ the B1G teams get.

Re: College Football 2016-17: Destination Tampa

Dumb question: do those budgets include buyouts of fired coaches? Could skew things a little.
