College Football 2015-16: The Big Ten Rises

I'd feel bad, but Harbaugh.

Understandable. Feel bad for the punter though. I mean it wasn't even a terrible snap. Hell, michigan would have been better off with rudock dropping back and throwing the ball as high and far down the field as possible. Sheesh.

Msu certainly didn't deserve that win but credit to them for completing the play. Michigan is still ahead of schedule but that should have been a real statement to msu that we are going to beat your star qb with jake rudock in year 1 of harbaugh. Tough when you have to wait a whole year for another chance.

Punter is so stupid, not only does he drop the ball but then he should have just fallen on it

Or at the very least not hit it up into the air right into a MSU player's arms. I mean, really, how is that even possible. I should put money on MSU to run the table, clearly it's fate.

Monday morning is a good time to be in the couch business in East Lansing.

Apparently Pat Haden collapsed on the sideline pregame at USC-ND. Tough week for USC.

I feel bad for the actual team, for sure.

The MSU guy who scored broke his hip in the celebration. They'll probably carry him around campus until he heals.

Stunning game to be at- I thought that the team overcame some really questionable calls. But it aint over till it's over. ****it.

As for the MSU player- tough way to win the game. Hope he will be ok. It took a little while for the students to realize that the team came down to support him and not rub the game in. But with the cart- it seemed like a lot were concerned. And still stunned. It took forever for the stadium to empty.

Hard to convince yourself that the progress is more than expected after that kind of loss.

I don't even know what to think.

Due to some luck I was actually up in the press box. Pretty hard to stay neutral up there, but I managed.

My thinking along the last play:

-No return man, game over if we don't block it. Not even a chance at a Hail Mary.
-Holy crap he dropped it, go go go get him!!!
-He can't get it off, tackle him tackle him!
-Pick up the fumble!
-"Oh my God!"
-There's only four seconds left, you're gonna get tackled, run out or fall down!
-Time's gonna run out, go go go!
-"Oh my God!"
-HE'S IN! HE'S IN! HE'S IN!
-"Oh my God"

I was at one of the cigar bars in Caesar's Palace. I had to do play-by-play via text for my dad (an M alum), who couldn't watch. This was the final sequence of conversation:

Me: "Great block. Almost an int."
Him: "Time to grind some clock"
Me: "Yep"
"1:42, 2&6"
"3&3...less than a minute"
"Timeout M"
"4th & 2, M burning clock"
"Timeout M"
"10 secs"
"You've gotta be kidding me..."
"Fumbled the snap, MSU recovers and runs it in, 27-23 final. Wow. That was tragic."
Him: "Ouch!"

Well in this day and age that always happens with stuff like this. Unfortunate but no way to stop it. A reason to hate social media.

Nice to see people respond to the negativity and give him tons of good vibes.

There would have been death threats 30 years ago too, they were just much harder to communicate.
