Re: College Football 2015-16: The Big Ten Rises

An LA Daily News reporter is currently tweeting that it is believed he was drunk during the Arizona State game.

While as a halfway-decent human being I should hope he gets better, Sark is a such a dick it's hard to root for anything but the bare minimum. Hopefully he can go against his natural instincts and take responsibility for his own shortcomings and not blame other people per usual.

Also, congrats to Pat Haden. Hiring both Kiffin and Sark. Maybe bring in someone fresh and stop trying to pretend it's 2004.

I cannot wish ill will of that nature on a simple a-hole. I hope he recovers from whatever demons he faces. Who knows? Maybe those demons are the cause...

If I wasn't clear, I do hope him a recovery, that's the minimum I root for. Beyond that, though, I would not be sad if his coaching days are past.

Wow, reading this Twitter feed (https://twitter.com/InsideUSC), what a mess the whole thing was.

Wow. The polls are an absolute clusterfk this week.

Annoys me that Baylor was rewarded for beating up a crappy team, but eventually they'll have to play TCU (the game will probably have an NBA score), so one of TCU and Baylor will deserve their ranking and the other will drop in the polls.

Baylor is one of the biggest shams this year. They've been beating up on crappy teams ALL YEAR. I know it comes up all the time, but who have they played? SMU, Rice, Lamar, Kansas, and the only respectable one is Texas Tech. Even they are 38th in the Massey consensus.

A sampling of computer SOS for Baylor:
Sagarin: 124th
Massey: 82nd
RealTimeRPI (Power, not RPI): 177th!!!
Pugh: 155 (average opponent's rank, not SOS)
Baker-Bradley-Terry (KRACH): 118th
Roundtable: 115th

The best I could find was 37th. Based on a quick Google search, Rudacille is based on MOV so it rewards blowouts over actual strength of schedule.

I get that they are crushing opponents, but to have them as #2 is a complete joke. Especially when you consider Utah is 11/8/20/74/7/11. I'm hoping they get exposed, which is likely considering the grueling November they have: @KState, Oklahoma, @Oklahoma State, @TCU. Brutal.

Hey, c'mon, they have purty uniforms and a style of offense that doesn't translate at all to the pros. That has to be worth something.

I was going to tongue-in-cheekly say the 366th day was just rubbing it in then I remembered, 'leap year'.
