The ACC just increased the early withdrawal penalty to $20M (per CBS Sports). That's a pretty good chunk of change.

Both ESPN and CBS have the Pitt/Syracuse news. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Pitt told the Big East: Get to 12 teams in football or we're leaving.
The reporter does give this bit of advice however...

Interesting theory over on Frank the Tank's blog comments that ESPN is trying to kill the Big East for turning down their extension and choosing to have ESPN/Fox/NBC bid on their rights in 2013. Get WVU to the SEC, Pitt and Syracuse to the ACC and good luck on your bidding with Rutgers, UConn, USF, Louisville and Cincy and some Big XII leftovers. Even the rumors kill their negotiating power.

Moving pretty fast...the Pitt story has legs and there may already be an agreement in place to get them to the ACC.
ETA: At this rate, there won't be a Big East by the time TCU joins..

How interested would the SEC be in scooping up UConn?
If Jim Delaney decides he can't expand east with both Syracuse and Pitt gone to the ACC, might he decide that the Integer should remain the dominant force in Middle America by going after Missouri, Oklahoma and State? They can still get into the NY market by taking Rutgers. That would bring them to 16 teams, bring their courtship with Notre Dame to an end and prevent the PAC-12 from expanding further, unless they wanted to take the Big XII leftovers for some reason. The SEC can take TCU giving them two teams from Texas.
The SEC would then be able to pick over the remains of the Big East or get one or two ACC teams to convert. They would likely target FSU (rival of Florida), Clemson (rival of South Carolina) and Georgia Tech (rival of Georgia). Or they can go after Louisville, Cincinnati, UConn or West Virginia. The leftover teams from the old Big East go to the ACC, except South Florida which no one wants.
The Big XII leftovers can join with South Florida to form a new conference, or go their separate ways into new conferences.
Winners: The Integer, Arizona/State which don't have to fear eastward expansion, TCU
Losers: Texas Tech, Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State and South Florida. Fans of college football rivalries.
Of course, the Integer can gum up the works by choosing the Kansas route instead of Oklahoma;or the ACC can go after the Kansas schools for basketball.
Or a million other things could happen

The problem is that Michigan's entire offense is Denard running the ball. They tried having him throw it and having running backs run the ball for most of the first quarter and that didn't go so well.
