From the Beaver Bash, at halftime, Bemidji State 17, Minot State 7.
Both teams are named the Beavers!
And earlier on the broadcast, the BSU football team was talking about how big the Minot Beaver at midfield was. Said it was the biggest Beaver they've ever seen.

No speculation on Mark Ingram? No idea how bad his knee injury is, yet- quick search says he will be out from one week to the entire season.
As much as I hate Alabama, he seems like a good kid, and I hope it's not too bad.

Assuming that you only get one permanent cross-division rival, that means that UW is probably no longer getting an annual matchup with Iowa while also not getting Nebraska (which I know Bielema and Alvarez were keen on).
They can keep the Indy-Purdue-Illinois trio together and they can't do the same for Minny-Wisco-Iowa?

What are the odds they change the name of the Big 10 now they will have more than two teams than ten? I think they will just based on how that number isn't close (like 11). But my dad seems to think no way. I haven't seen any name change talk at all. Which points to them not changing the name. Things are only made more confusing with the Big 12 having 10 teams and the Big 10 having 10.

Given all the options of alignment that have been tossed around, I shouldn't be surprised that the B10 somehow managed to pick the among the worst of the options.
