The previous kick was hooked badly too. Given that, I was a bit surprised they played it so conservatively. They had three timeouts, right?

Even if the Irish pull out the win in OT I still say Weis should be let go (and Im an Irish fan). While he has shown that he can recruit some talent he has shown time and time again he can not win with that talent. They've lost to many games they should have won and had to many close wins that shouldnt have been close. Add in the huge blowout losses and it equals nothing but dissapointment.

Plus every time they fly to a game, they have to buy two seats for him and that starts to add up.

Really? Hey, Mr. Announcer, did you watch the previous UConn possession, in the first overtime, which was like five minutes ago, when they threw incomplete on first down and then ran on second?

There's just no justification for retaining Weis. This had to have been decided weeks ago. My God, even Michigan beat them.

He's gone...no reason to keep him, at all.

Notre Dame should not lose at home to UConn and Navy...even Ty Willingham and Bob Davie didn't lose to Navy...

One nice story from all this. I'm sure this kid dreamed of winning on senior day in South Bend, and he did.

The fact that Syracuse's QB is Greg Paulus just makes that loss that much worse.
