Michigan cancels vs OSU.

Now to see what the Big Ten does. OSU is currently ineligible as this brings them under six games, but Alvarez hinted last week that the six game minimum could be altered.

As of right now though, barring other cancellations, it’s Indiana vs Northwestern for the Big Ten title.

If they don’t change the rules, that brings up plenty of other questions. It was thought some changes could be made to crossover week to make sure Wisconsin vs Minnesota is played, which would open up a spot for UM-OSU to play as well. But, if OSU needs a shot at the playoffs without a conference title, a 3-2 Wisconsin is better than a 2-4 Michigan.
 
Why bother even having a rule if you are just going to modify it to allow OSU in. Not a good look.

Let IU/NU play if thats who ends up qualifying.

Yeah at that point you're pretty much admitting OSU getting in is pre-ordained and no longer relying on what happens on the field.

I suspect that this will be the last time we see many of these coaches. So the great Harbaugh will have an 0fer against his arch rival. Pretty sad.

Seems like the one bad call was the start of the end for him. Year 2 was the best up until then, and it's just gone downhill from there.
 
Someone got banned? Wouldnt there need to be mods watching this place for that to happen? I mean considering no threads close and there is spam all over the place that seems rather unlikely...

I’m aware posters can put “handles” or whatever under their names, and I have no idea how mods signal someone has been banned, if they do at all, but I saw alfablue’s said “banned” when I was perusing a thread the other day. Thought it was odd at the time.
 
Yeah unless it was something he said way back when. I vaguely recall someone saying on here something a fair amount over the line to hovey. But not sure that was him. That sucks.

The only thing I remember that was (IMO) over the line was by one of our regulars who has not been banned.

I would assume the things that would freak out a mod enough to banhammer here would be something that could actually cost the site host money. Like: really, really, REALLY serious obscenity, or a threat of violence. In other words stuff we would all pretty much agree was banworthy.

I had no idea anybody was disappeared so there's a good chance I completely missed the post in question.
