BSU is failing to be impressive vs Tulsa. Only up 7. This is not the way to stay in the top 5 as a non-BCS school.

It isn't, however this wasn't supposed to be a walkover either. Tulsa is really the only tough game they have left on the schedule, theoretically.

What, you dismiss my 5-1 Vandals??? How dare you. :eek: That was a massive come from behind victory vs. the San Jose State Spartans!

(ok, it looked like the game should have been held on a Friday night...)

Although, I don't exactly expect them to still have only one loss when they do play Bozo State.

Tulsa was blown out by a less than full powered Oklahoma team. So BSU looks even worse as they get compared to a team with 2 losses already.

They needed to win this game by 30+.

Not a nice weekend for homecoming at Penn State after nearly 5 inches of snow fell over the past couple of days. From the Centre Daily Times:

On the Penn State campus, personnel from the Office of Physical Plant were busy throughout the day, removing tree limbs and preparing for an influx of 100,000 fans for the homecoming game against Minnesota.

The university scrambled to identify off-campus parking after deciding saturated grass lots around Beaver Stadium — accounting for 20,000 parking spaces — could not be used today. Tailgating would be prohibited, they said, to maximize parking space.

Power was out around town, including at a couple of hotels. To add to it, there was an electrical fire at one hotel and the fire marshall closed the place, leaving a bunch of guests literally out in the cold!

Wasn't this stupid hick bowl always referred to as the Red River Shootout? Farking hippies renaming things. Can't wait til it ends up in "sudden victory" overtime.
