College Basketball ver Do Wedzenia Krzyzewski

IIRC a lot of science/engineering people like Robert Noyce went to Grinnell, so no.

Apparently it was ranked the "second-most godless" college in the country (behind Vassar). Oregon has two of the best 5: Reed and Lewis & Clark.

I was thinking of some other midwestern school.

Edit: Wheaton.

I'd imagine that Green-something in the PNW is up there.

[edit] Evergreen in WA. Didn't check if they qualify. Have a cousin that went there who was a mega-hippy for many years. Now he's just a vegan.

Jesuit. Never heard it shortened to that before?

Nope. I don't get around a lot in Catholic circles anymore. I actually can't think of any snarky nicknames for Jesuits, Franciscans, or Dominicans. Thankfully I was not sent off to Catholic HS like my brother.

Evergreen State, where IIRC they don't even issue letter grades. The professors just write up an eval for each student or something.

Texas men's basketball coach Chris Beard, who led Texas Tech to the 2019 NCAA championship game and was hired away by the Longhorns with expectations he'd elevate his alma mater to the same elite level, was arrested early Monday on a felony family violence charge after a woman told police he strangled and bit her.

That's the worst thing Coach Beard has done since S2E9 went nowhere.

When Florida Atlantic and Rice join Temple as full time members of the American Athletic Conference, there will be three teams (out of 16) who are known as the Owls.

Has any conference ever had three of the same nickname before?

Well, the SEC has three Tigers (Missouri, Auburn, LSU).

That's a conference realignment idea I could get behind. Group them by mascot. An all bird conference. Can probably do one of just tigers. Would create some interesting and wildly one sided matchups at times
