The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Really enjoying watching the inaugural WPHL game between NY and Toronto especially since two of Gate's greatest players are playing such a big part. Jessie Eldridge and Olivia Zafuto are doing what they do best and will give us much to cheer about going forward along with Malia Schneider and Rosie Demers. I think the more physical game will allow players like Olivia Z to really show her personality which always made me smile when she was wearing the Gate C. She's happy to be that chippy player other teams hate and the NY crowd should love it.
League win over a ranked opponent to start the New Year. It only gets tougher from here. Qpac defeats UMD, which Colgate couldn’t do twice, and Cornell hands Clarkson its first loss. The second half of the season is huge. It begins again against a very talented Clarkson team.
Defeated SLU 7-3, but gave up 3 goals on 20 shots, 2 on the pp. That will not get the job done against tougher competition. We’ve seen it before.
We'll see what Kayle O can do tonight. We were a bit sloppy on the penalty kills for sure. Q's win was at home, very different than in Duluth after a long flight. If we play Gate hockey we'll win today. In Potsdam it will be tougher...
Very good game with 2 excellent goalies, but Clarkson's was a bit better tonight. These teams are dead even and on Monday we could find Gate, Clarkson, Cornell and Q at 4,5, 6 and 7 in the poll. I just don't know the order.
Have never been a big believer in home ice advantage. Good teams win at home; better teams win on the road. Today’s loss does not take away from a good season, but in the end, that’s all they’ve been is good. We’ll put up 7 or so against Syracuse again this Tuesday for good measure.
