Just logged on and was sorry to read reports of our demise in Game 1. Sounds like we were asleep in the first period AGAIN. Gotta come out of the box fired up tonight or it's over I fear. Hope I log on this time tomorrow and read that we've tied it up. Thanks all for your reports.

Greencoat - Union deserves credit for a great season, but it's nothing we couldn't do if we had the ringers they have :) A team doesn't get this good, this fast, without a definite change in recruiting methods. (..don't take this like it sounds)

ColSkate65...unless you know something I don't it's not only Union but others who have gone a similar route...most of Yale's players are at least a year older...I remember Terry's first recruiting class; was there anything wrong there??? Chris Wagner is a "ringer" and will be a very, very good college hockey player...my guess is that Union is simply out-recruiting us, pure and simple...

Congrats to the Gate...and Congrats to Ron Fogarty '95 in leading the 4th year program, Adrian Bulldogs, to the Final Four in Minneaoplis, after winning 5-3 in the NCAA Quarterfinals!!!

43 days ago at Harvard, I watched these guys play perhaps the worst 60 minutes of hockey I have ever seen played by a Colgate team.

The third period at Union tonight was perhaps the best 20 minutes of hockey I have ever seen played by a Colgate team.

Amazing!

Wow !!! How similar to the RPI series, game one crushed in the first period, play well in periods two and three but too late ! Play well and win game two...maybe OT in game three and .....

It all comes down to one game...who woulda thunk it ? Can we do the "unthinkable". Win one period at a time, if we play like we did in the third, we can do it !!!!!

Crazy as it would have seemed about a month ago we are only 60 solid minutes from Atlantic City. Get it done!

Anyone with video clips?

Like RPI's Polacek, if we can bottle up Simpson and Brodie, we have another chance. Our ability to stay out of the box was key; Union's penalties had them on their heels a bit and you could sense it. We need to put them back on their heels again tonight. When we play 5x5, we are a good, good team. Wagner and Bourdon...what a dynamic duo!

Marmot...have been noticing Larkin's good plus/minus all year...sometimes you wonder if he realizes how good he is...after 39 games a +9 is statistically relevant..."third" line has really stepped it up here: Mayer-Wagner-Bourdon...might need some production from Smith-Brisboid-Bartliff tonight...

Pre-game BUMP! We're on page 2!

Getting tix seems like a nightmare. You'd think with any possible 3-game series, they would pre-plan for this and allot some tix for the visiting team. My tix were MIA when I got there Friday night and so were those for the people in front of and behind me. Then they gave me someone else's family pack with the same last name as mine. Completely clueless, unorganized, and unapologetic.

Wow!! Just logged on. Amazing win last night. Only 15 minutes to Game 3. Looking for Gate to pull out another. GO 'GATE!!!!!
