Clarkson 2013 - 14

She's made it through to the final 10 and has more than twice the votes of the person in second place. Voting closes tomorrow.

They don't need a new assistant coach. They have one already, Matt Kelly. They just have one head coach now instead of two because Shannon is stepping down to spend more time with the Kids.

Guess they did need someone to coach the offense, forgot the Matts were both defensemen and Shannon was the offensive coach. Although it seems kind of odd that they would be saying it on the Canadian Selection Camp article when there isn't anything announced on Clarkson's website that they have hired someone.

Not sure why Clarkson would hire her to coach the offense when she has played defense all her life.

If she is the new assistant and since she is Canadian, may be there is a work visa issue that has to be resolved?? I am only speculating but cannot come up with any other reason as to why the school would not have already announced her hiring.

That sounds reasonable. I know that Minnesota's hiring and announcement of Nadine Muzerall until a month into the season three years ago for that reason.

Oh didn't know she played defense or who she was at all... So they're end of ice more than covered. Wonder how offense is gonna go
