Great Game Beavers I listened on the radio and it sounded like they played a good sound two game series! First ever 0-0 tie in BSU History last night but sounded like a great game by both teams. Good to see Bakala had two shutouts in a row, that should definately help his stats and hopefully he can keep that kind of dominance through the rest of the year! Keep it up Bemidji State!!!

PLAYPEN NOTE

It should be clarified that, on Friday, WMU won the shootout, 2-1. As I was not clear in the beginning as to whether or not shootout results would be accepted as a part of the pick, a choice of either a tie (which no one took) or a WMU win on Friday will result in a win. To clarify, the series will shape like this:

W Sweep - 1-1 (no picks)
Split - 2-0
B+tie - 2-0 (no picks)
W+tie - 1-1 (no picks)
B Sweep - 1-1
Two ties - 1-1 (no picks)

For the remainder of the season, shootout results will not be considered as a part of the official game result. All games going to a shootout will be recorded as a tie for the purposes of the Prognosticator's Playpen.

Results from last weekend and updated standings will be available after I get out of this meeting and get back to my office.

In the past, we have always used the result that the NCAA uses. I know when Bemidji was in the Dodge Classic way back when, one of their games went to a shootout and we used a tie as the result (BSU won the shootout).

I do get a kick out of some of the articles I have read on the game and the reporters are all saying that WMU knocked off #10 Bemidji State..... :rolleyes:

FWIW: UAH is staying in the north country this week. It made no sense to come home today to turn around and leave Wednesday night for Clarkson. I believe the team is staying in Vermont and practicing there and then going over to Potsdam on Thursday. As such,
