At 30 games announced, there are two weekends unaccounted for here. No dates, this is not necessarily the order of games either, except that he said explicitly that we open the season at home against Ferris.

The coaching staff is working on adding two more home series. If USNDP comes through, they have the option of adding a 35th game (only one game against U-18 can be exempted from the 34-game limit).

I still think it would be nice to rotate the "CHA Championship Tournament" every holiday season between the four former members. :)

Bemidji recruit Radoslav Illo is playing for Slovakia in the World Junior Championships in Saskatoon right now. In two games (United States and Latvia) he has 1G-3A-4 Pts., and 6 PIM.

I was just going to post the same info. He's tied for 7th in the tourney in pts., and looked good at times in the US game. You can see him again tomorrow at 8 pm EST vs. Canada on the NHL Network...

I feel it is CHA related due to the fact that Bemidji is still in the CHA and recruited Illo while still a member of the league! :p

He was also named the Slovak Player of the Game against the United States!

Time to get some picks in here for this week:

Lake Superior at Robert Morris for two: Don't know what to think on this one. Are the records deceiving or not. I am going to give Lake State the sweep.

Bemidji State at Western Michigan: Beavers come back from the extended break and are ****ed off over the Mankato series. They take it out on the Broncos and come back to Minnesota with the sweep.

Niagara vs. North Dakota: North Dakota is still missing Chey Genoway, but that is not going to matter in this game, Sioux win.

Niagara vs. Notre Dame/Colgate: Niagara has played Colgate already this year while Notre Dame is familiar with CHA teams and what can happen. I just don't see the Eagles getting a victory this weekend. Colgate or Notre Dame win.

UAH at Vermont: As much as I would like to see a CHA victory, I just don't see UAH being able to get the road victory.

UAH vs. Duluth/Mercyhurst: If UAH faces Mercyhurst, the Chargers will prevail. If they match up against Duluth, the Bulldogs will come out on top.

I think I got them all!
