Considering the CC's goal was short-handed, RPI did less than nothing on the powerplay. :( They seemed to be doing more yesterday. Perhaps SA berated the team for taking even up penalties, so they are more tentative now.

are currently two positively charged ions. For those who realize the materials do not carry any sort of magnetic properties, pretend they do, work with me here, people. We need to reverse the polarity on one of these. It seems that the puck is repelled by the net. We need to put the two together. And I don't mean the back side. :eek:

I think there were a lot of dangerous loose pucks out front that never made it all the way on goal. Which is related to our simply not being big and strong enough on the puck.

i hope so-we have looked weak on the PP so far in all the games. Improvement there would make an incredible difference for this team that seems to have their defense well worked out-just need to get those few extra goals that the PP could give us.

This line up we have out there just does not have the finishers. They are physical enough and try hard-but we have a limited number of guys who are snipers and most of them are out hurt.

I also think this will ultimately work to our benefit, as we'll be sharper, faster, and crisper when we face ECAC PK's, where we'll have a lot more room to operate.

I totally agree with that assessment. Last night we had many chances on the power play. A number of tip opportunities, and none of them found the net. We just don't have the players out there that we need to score on the power play at this time.

When you look at our PK stats-remember that the 2 empty net goals yesterday were considered as PP goals. We were short handed. That kind of alters the numbers a bit.
