Cats and Dogs Redux -- UNH at BU (Saturday)

Re: Cats and Dogs Redux -- UNH at BU (Saturday)

BU goal... just after the penalty expired, Saponari spins 360 and backhands a really bad-angle backhander over Foster's shoulder. Odd goal... pretty nifty work by Saponari. 2-1 BU.

Re: Cats and Dogs Redux -- UNH at BU (Saturday)

Game suddenly slightly less fun than the beer.

Vinny Saponari from a wide angle just after BU's PP had expired -- 2-1 Terriers.

Re: Cats and Dogs Redux -- UNH at BU (Saturday)

End of 2nd period... BU 2, UNH 1

A rather blah period with only one goal and smattering of chances either way. Rollheiser responded when tested. Still very much anyone's game.

Keeps you regular, Richard... :D
Just clicked on the Ratebeer link at the Stonebrew site I just inserted below -- they give it maximum points (100!)

Not bad for a reasonably prised domestic beer...

checkin in quickly, whats happenin folks?
Hey, Josh -- BU scored fairly late in the first to tie it, then Vinny Saponari lifted a backhander over Foster from a very tough angle late in the second just after a BU power play had expired. 2-1 Terriers...

Just me and Richard here tonight, Josh.... and occasionally Jen... no BU'ers tonight.
Hopefully they're at the game. Dean was here for a good while also -- had to leave about a third of the way through the second...

Couple of sports pluses already today that they just mentioned: footlball team came from behind to win 27-24 on a run by Kackert to edge a surprisingly tough Maine (who looked on their way to an upset), also: women edged RPI in hockey 4-3. Was also personally happy to see Harvard snatch a very late 14-10 win over Yale in New Haven, who had led 10-0 almost the entire game...

Vincents goal should have been stopped. Rollie is playing very well, stopping good tries. The first two goals were good shots. Calls so far have been ok. Overall a well executed game all around.

Oh sorry -- misunderstood. Good enough at my end.

Taking the Vermonter up from just outside Philly to navigate and sit in the passenger seat for the drive down from Keene with my freshman son (who's yet to be introduced to the joys and rigors of driving in pre-Holliday traffic).

You?

Richard, did you see the football game? Orlando's play to set up the final TD was a 50 yrd slant pattern... that kid has serious speed. He was knocked out of bounds at the 5.

The football game was a good tough playoff-type victory, hard fought, faced adversity (got royally screwed when they scored a TD that was somehow ruled an interception in the fourth). Exciting end of the game, and the D came up big when they had to. Women's hockey played poorly but Paton had 3 goals and an assist to lead them to the 4-3 win after trailing 3-1 late in the 2nd

mookie, Saponari's goal hit Kipp in the shoulder and got directed in off of him. I don't think Foster saw it.

Cats GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAALLLLLLL!!!!! PHIL DESIMONE GOBBLES UP THE BIG REBOUND OFF THE GOOD BUTLER SHOT AND MAKES NO MISTAKE.... HE BURIES IT.... 2-2 JUST 25 SECONDS INTO THE 3RD!
