Really, really appreciate that detail, Josh. Kept checking the thread on my Nokia E71 while accompanying my daughter at the mall, and was very pleasantly surprised that they managed to pull it out in extremis

Gutsy to focus and overcome an apparently brutal calll like that...

Another quick BU penalty puts UNH on the PP again... but nothing doing thus far.

BU kills it off and we are back to 5x5 hockey... 15:44 to play in the 3rd... 2-2.

BU called again... Chiasson goes for slashing... 14:52 left. UNH to the PP. This is their 5th PP chance of the game. They are 0 for 4 on the night so far.

Henrion with a good bid for UNH and then BU nearly scores but Campanale sweeps it away from the goal. Close.. very close at both ends.

Thompson's had a big weekend. That was the type of goal that BU would get in the NCAA's last year, Thompson tipped it and it SLOWLY floated up and over the goalie and in... big goal

10:28 left in the 3rd.. UNH 3, BU 2 and the action is really heating up nicely. Good rushes both ways. Both goalies will surely be tested often down the stretch.

Yep... Richard and I are both are watching, I believe.... so we have video... thought the EXACT SAME THING.

I have to say, and I've said it a few times today talking UNH hockey, I am looking forward to see how this team grows as the year goes on. No expectation, lots of room for improvement, but the effort is there, despite not the most talented team, especially on the back end, they're giving it a good go each night (save for maybe the Lowell game), and they're picking up points... they were 11 seconds away from being 5-5-1 in the league, which is tough to believe given some of the games we've seen...

Let's hang on to this one!

This is a propos of nothing gamewise, but I just noticed an odd coincidence when I printed out the rosters (so as to try to come something close to spelling players' names correctly).

Of UNH's two goalies-in-waiting, Scott Tyler is from Ridgefield CT -- where my wife and fellow UNH alum Trish is from. And Matt DiGirolamo is from Ambler, PA -- not too far from here, and the town her aunt's family comes from.

How's that for useless not-game-related info.

BU ties it on the power play, 3-3, Trovino, I believe... PK had been good so far this weekend... under 8 to go

maybe debatable, but they're calling it both ways, similar to the call earlier on BU
