Castleton Leaving LEC For MASCAC Effective 2027-28 Season

VTSU Castleton announced this morning that effective next year they will be a core member of the MASCAC, bringing all 20 of their varsity programs (inlucding men's and women's ice hockey) under the MASCAC umbrella.

Any thoughts on how Castleton stacks up against the other MASCAC teams?
 
I think they will be in the running to win that league from day one. Looks like the perfect spot for St. Anselm just appeared in the LEC.
