Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

Here we go --> Actual breaking news: The GOP is alleging voter fraud in Broward County FL.

Here's a Fox tweet.

Something about 1000's of mail-in ballots being opened without being verified? I don't know, probably technicalities, but it's the GOP, not some guy living under a bridge saying they will be filing suit in the morning. Broward is basically North Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, up to around Boca.

Probably no worries though as Florida Election's reputation is as always, impeccable.

Could this DOJ (Kadzik)/Podesta relationship be what's stuck in the FBI's craw?

Seems plausible given:

... prior to joining the DOJ, Kadzik was the attorney of Marc Rich, whose records the FBI released yesterday, as well as Podesta; in fact, the Clinton campaign chairman infamously wrote that Kadzik was a “fantastic lawyer” who “kept me out of jail.”

Its Florida it is probably both :D

In all honesty...I am not sure filing suit BEFORE the election is the way to go about this...

Not familiar with Florida election law but why would mail-in ballots be getting opened now? Here in Maine they are opened after the polls close on election night.

Speaking of absentee ballots, did we ever find out why that GOP office in North Carolina had a bunch of blank ballots hanging around, or is that another mystery that can't be solved without looking at email servers or Anthony Weiner's dick pics?

I think this might be a miscalculation on the GOP's part...the votes will end up being counted and they just look like they are crying wolf again.

My Mom works polls in Wisconsin and they do the same as Maine. Here apparently they can open before the election but the mail-ins have to go through the Canvassing Board to be verified before they are opened and counted. GOP is alleging these (now saying 10's of thousands of) open ballots haven't been verified as they allege the Canvassing Board hasn't met for 2 weeks.

Incidentally, Broward is probably 70% Blue.

Stupidly I thought the GOP would wait until next week to file lawsuits in places where they know they're likely to lose.

Yeah, that's kind of the point. So sick of this garbage.

Thanks Wiscconsin.

BELOIT — U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson said Monday he believes Hillary Clinton's actions with her private email server are impeachable offenses should she be elected president.

"She purposefully circumvented it (the law), this was willful concealment and destruction," Johnson said during an interview at the Beloit Daily News.

Johnson cited 18 U.S. Code 793 (f) and 18 U.S. Code 2071, which have to do with the willful destruction or removal from proper custody of information relating to national defense. Johnson honed in on the latter of the two, which reads in part that anyone found to have concealed or removed records "shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States."

"I'm not a lawyer, but this is clearly written," Johnson said. "I would say yes, high crime or misdemeanor, I believe she is in violation of both laws."
