Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

I think this might be a miscalculation on the GOP's part...the votes will end up being counted and they just look like they are crying wolf again.

I don't think so. They've got their voters so buffaloed they'll swallow any charge of voter fraud (except those against GOP operatives obviously). This is a no lose for them: if they can gum up the works they might slow-walk the whole process and hurt turnout in a blue county; if they have on the ground assistance from their Bat Boy governor they might even be able to suppress a lot of Democratic votes, and even if they get swatted down they will add fuel to the prairie fire they have lit among their voters that "it's rigged."

And if they de-legitimatize democratic institutions in the pursuit of narrow partisan advantage, well, that's just tough luck.

The only way to stop these guys is to vote them all out. The extant political right is a cancer. Even if it is gradually shrinking it could still kill the patient on its way out.

Yeah, that's kind of the point. So sick of this garbage.

Actually what would be funny is if they dont get counted and they were Drumpf votes ;)

And Johnson is a moron...let him talk.

I am not talking about their voters...it isnt about them. This is about everyone else...the ones have been tuning out for the past 5 days because of the FBI BS. Between this and the Black Church the GOP is doing everything it can to get Liberals to get off their ***.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

Could this DOJ (Kadzik)/Podesta relationship be what's stuck in the FBI's craw?

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-...ampaign-and-doj-kadzik-provides-heads-podesta

Seems plausible given:

So investigating Hillary you've got AG Lynch, (who Hillary has since said she would like to keep on as AG) secretly meeting WJC, #2 FBI McCabe tied to Clinton pal and Foundation Board member Terry McAuliffe, and the assistant AG heading up the DOJ side of the investigation tied to Clinton Campaign Chairman, John Podesta.

Everything is fine here.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

My Mom works polls in Wisconsin and they do the same as Maine. Here apparently they can open before the election but the mail-ins have to go through the Canvassing Board to be verified before they are opened and counted. GOP is alleging these (now saying 10's of thousands of) open ballots haven't been verified as they allege the Canvassing Board hasn't met for 2 weeks.

Incidentally, Broward is probably 70% Blue.

I think they shot their wad too early...what worked for Dubya was The Supremes were up against a clock. In this case they have plenty of time.

This doesnt pass the smell test. (tens of thousands in one county this early?)

And the alternative is?

Broward probably approaches 2 million pop. Plus Florida early voting is probably driven up by the long lines in the last Presidential Election which was a mess.

So you buy that tens of thousands of ballots in Broward are challengable? Why only there...you would think that this mistake would be happening everywhere wouldnt you not just in the Dem stronghold?

Sorry...not buying it. If the Dems were going to try and screw with the election it wouldnt be in a county that is going to go for Hillary anyways. This is like the "voter fraud" in Texas that was nothing of the sort.

If I was Hillary I would be putting out ads about this from now til Tuesday...I would be speaking publicly too. This guy is so destructive he cant even let election happen before he challenges its validity. He is a fraud who is hellbent on destruction.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

Don't worry, this really isn't unusual in Florida elections. Last week somebody in Miami who is for the Medical Marijuana ballot question got caught marking all the ballots that didn't answer the question. I commend the effort, but she used a different color ink.

This is the local GOP btw. I doubt tDonald has the time to check every balloting station himself.

Also- I buy that IF they opened them without canvassing them first, they do have a problem. There's a reason that it's done one way and not the other.

Is the flipping GOP surprised Politics happens in Politics? Just knock it off. Leave the woman alone. YOU HAD HER FOR OVER 8 HOURS IN YOUR GODDAMM BENGHAZI HEARING AND YOU GOT NOWHERE. It's time to cut bait and move on.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

8 hrs? That's nothing, this lady murdered all of her political rivals (except for the ones still around) and half the state of Arkansas :D

Maybe, just maybe, this time Tom will finally catch Jerry.

You laugh but just wait 'til Comey goes to apprehend Weiner and they are both tragically killed in the ensuing shootout!

Remember when you thought Gary Johnson was a great candidate? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

I never really said he was a great candidate. I said I agreed with many of his policies in paper and planned to votefor him given the choices that the two major parties have presented us.
