Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread
Maybe you need to get involved, then. If you don't take part in the selection of candidates, then you have to deal with the people other choose for you. Suck it up.
Again, some of us think Hillary Clinton is a great candidate and will make a great President. Don't tell me I'm wrong, as I'm not telling you that you are wrong- they are just opinions.
If anything is broken- it's the nominating system. The fact that it started so very early with so many debates WAY before two tiny little states thinned the field to some rather odd choices- doesn't that say something is wrong? Why can't we have one nominating day for the entire country?
What's funny to me- based on historical models- term limits, economics, etc- the best predictors out there which are very reliable- this *should* have been a walkover for the Republicans. But thanks to Trump, the battle is a whole lot closer than history suggests. To the point that a normal Democrat loss, well, we will see Tuesday.
I can be honest- I didn't vote, as I would have been fine with Bernie or Hillary, but am more pleased that Hillary got the nod by the most voters.
Reading comprehension issues? Once again, as previously stated, not my party.
But I know that hyper partisans on both sides have a hard time understanding the independent voter.
