Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

Saw that tweet this morning and I had to click on the profile because I thought there was no way it could be that Scott Walker that tweeted that.

Who says politicians can't occasionally screw up and tell the truth.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

I hate that he called me a Dem :/

To be fair to Brent he wasnt very active in this thread before when Kepler and others were ripping her to shreds. He really didnt start posting until Bernie was already done and Drumpf was the GOPs Great White Hope.

Fair enough

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

huh?

Oh... I see what the problem is here -- You're under the impression that the federal government works quickly and efficiently. :p

No, I'm saying if rogue FBI agents who hated Comey's giving Hillary a free pass had such a hard-on to stick it to him with new damaging information about her, they sure took their sweet time getting it out there.

You suppose any government agency who came across a videotape of Hillary holding a .38 to the back of Vince Foster's head would sit on it for three weeks just because government "works slow"? Please.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XXIII: The Penultimate Thread

I'm not a Twitter user or follower, apparently the official Clinton campaign put out a tweet that says

'Donald Trumps equal pay plan for women: "You're gonna make the same if you do as good a job." '

This is supposed to be critical of him? how?

If it's true, he (or the Hillary's Twatter feed) is implying that women can't - or don't - do as good of a job as men when performing the same tasks.

It's real.

I think they missed a word from what they intended because equal pay for equal work quantity and quality ("as good a job") is kind of the point, isn't it?

I think (hope) they meant something like:

'Donald Trumps equal pay plan for women: "You're gonna make the same as now even if you do as good a job." '
'Donald Trumps equal pay plan for women: "You're gonna make less even if you do as good a job." '

Yeah, they ****ed that up. Not surprised.

America's favorite game: FILL IN THE BLANK!

I predict Kepler will get this without looking at the link (below quote).

"The top item Americans say they are likely to buy because of the election is a ____," according to a survey for the supply chain firm Elementum. What's more 97 percent of Americans are holding off major purchases "due to the presidential election."

On top of the list of items all age groups are considering is ____, said the survey. Some 16 percent "plans to buy a ____ as a result of the upcoming election. Among Americans living in the South, the figure is nearly 1 in 5 (19 percent) and among Gen Xers (35-44 year olds) the number is nearly 1 in 4 (23 percent) especially among women (24 percent)," said Elementum.

Linky.

It's never been about equal rights. Only about attacking men, and making it "societally unacceptable" to believe otherwise.

If this is all about you trying to justify having an inflatable girlfriend, you're gonna have to do better than that! :D
