What is the point of this if all they're going to do is talk over each other like a couple of guys at the bar who've had two drinks too many?

And that was a super-lame "there you go again" reference by Pence.

kaine is getting his butt whipped. someone gave him 4 things to repeat all night and that's all he's got. "you're hired, you're fired" rather sad to watch.

Pence has a really tough job. He's gotta do what he's gotta do, but he's also got to somehow save his career.

This debate is what all debates are if they don't include a dumpster fire like Dubya, Palin, or Trump. Two slick pols exchanging inanities ("I come from a small town..."), irrelevancies ("an old Jew who survived Hitler and Stalin couldn't survive a leafy college town in Happy Happy Gunland"), and untruths ("The GOP has spent the last hundred years trying to destroy Social Security but you can trust me!" :rolleyes: )

I woudn't be surprised if the networks cut away for updates on Kim Kardashian. They're not equipped to deal with normal, boring politics.

The only thing I've really learned tonight is that Mike Pence looks and talks exactly like Killface.

Pence needs to attack more, but with the exception of a few mentions of ISIS and Serverghazi, he's been on his heels half-heartedly defending Trump. Like I said, he doesn't really want to be here.

I think it's kind of a brilliant move to use the line that Trump actually has business dealings with Russia instead of saying we don't know if has ties or not.

If they keep repeating that line it will catch.

Nobody's winning. The moderator is losing her patience and the rest of us are losing 90 minutes we'll never get back.
