Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XX: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

I told some people at work I will not be voting for a president as I don't wish to endorse any of the candidates (also, I'll be travelling and the absentee application seems like a hassle, also MI looks safe from the cretin anyway) Two people got kind of worked up and told me the exact same thing from either side of the fence: "But a vote that is not cast is essentially a vote for (Hillary/Trump)!" Based on my non-alignment with either of these two coworkers I feel more sure now that I'm doing the right thing by abstaining. Screw it.

Or maybe the increase in workplace and school shootings? Or general shootings overall?

Mpls just had another 6 people shot early this morning, downtown area.

So the answer to increased shootings is increased guns? Yeah, that's some twisted logic right there.

The debate commission admits there was an issue with Trump's microphone. Imagine if the same would've happened to Candidate Obama in 2008.

Yep, that's what his problem was during that debate. The microphone.

I'm not saying the problem wasn't what was going into the microphone, but, the microphone did have an issue. (Trump had basis for that whining.)

For a guy not supporting Trump, you spend a disproportionate amount of time defending him...

And that affected how much of the audience? Please round to the nearest hundredth percent.

Did he complain at all about the mic during the debate? I didn't watch. From all the clips I saw, seems like the mic was working fine. I did see numerous tweets about the sniffing from people that were watching - did it not come across in the hall? Was the mic the reason for the sniffing noise or was it him sniffing?

Apparently TV could hear him fine but the people at the hall could not.

The sniffing was his cocaine habit.

Honestly, I prefer to get my (albeit biased) political news here first because the aggregation of links everyone finds and because it's more balanced than the spin I would get from any news channel.

The Sicatoka isn't just sitting here defending the lies or making up new ones like Kellyanne Conway. His "defense" is (or from what I can tell) grounded with some truth. And he's taken his fair share of pot shots of Trump as we all have.

As for Scooby, well, his message of the sky is falling may be beaten to death, but at least it's a reminder that no matter what 538 says, it isn't all kittens and rainbows for Hillary.

Oh, and watching everyone know just which buttons to push on everyone else has been a hoot. :D

I may be the only one who is tired of "First and Only VP Debate"

Just saying "Only VP Debate" says the exact same thing.

There's a difference between defending and not liking to see only one side of a debate. The fact is there was a problem with his microphone as admitted by the debate sponsors. Stating that is not defending the guy.

Which audience? TV? Zero point zero zero (to the hundredth). In the theater? I don't know, but there was enough effect for the debate sponsors to state there was a microphone issue.

Yup. I just want to see all the information out there and not just one side's echo chamber.

If Trump out-and-out lies, yeah, he owns that; same for the other. But I'll also gladly stain either candidate with the truth (which both seem to want to avoid).

And it's not all "kittens and rainbow"; it's "duckies and bunnies". :D
