In other news, there's a Trump rally in my area on Monday and they anticipated 7-8k people. Over 15k in demand has organizers scrambling to find a bigger venue than the home of the Florida Everblades, Germain Arena. I was thinking of taking the little McBadgerton out of school and going to see the spectacle but with so many in attendance I'm worried we won't have a clear enough view of the protester beatings to make it worthwhile. :(

I get that, and I was probably wrong, but for many this Clinton hate, often based on the failed scandal campaigns, is just a rationalization to vote GOP.

I've said this before, but a meteor strike at the 1st debate will be a Kepler approved Act of God.

You're not adding anything to this debate. You have a conviction and nothing's going to shake it -- OK, but you're not convincing anybody of anything and you're not addressing reality. You're as bad as the third party purists you purport to hate. Add the ad hom remarks and you're off to Ignore. Congrats, you're less interesting to talk to right now than Fish or Flag.

For the rest of us, we've got work to do. Very few American citizens are genuinely terrible people. Very few Germans and Italians in the 30s were. We have the vast majority on our side if we can reach and hold them.

Honestly, I can't think of a single Republican who could beat him. He'd take all of Hillary's supporters and the entire white rust belt. He might get 400 EV.

Neither can I. He's safe, likeable, and reliable (and a bit goofy). I'd pull D for the 1st time since 1976.

Any Dem will likely be one term. 3 straight is hard enough. 4 straight you have to literally be the best president in a century.

I supported Biden in both 1988 and 2008 and held out hope he might run in 2016. At 73 he might have been too old though, and I think the loss of his son took more out of him than he'll ever let on. Lots of sorrow in his history. I have to believe he'd be capable of pulling off the electoral landslide many of us dream about.
