Former Anchor for Al Jazeera America, CNN, and MSNBC @DavidShuter has tweeted:

Clarification from dem operatives @HillaryClinton pneumonia: Expect emergency DNC meeting to CONSIDER replacement. #HillarysHealth

LOL. Yeah, I don't think so.

But somewhere Handsome Joe is putting on the foil.

"If humans were rational creatures, the time and place of Clinton’s “overheating” wouldn’t matter at all. But when it comes to American psychology, there is no more powerful symbol of terrorism and fear than 9-11 . When a would-be Commander-in-Chief withers – literally – in front of our most emotional reminder of an attack on the homeland, we feel unsafe. And safety is our first priority." - Scott Adams' blog

Why would I? It's no "message" -- it's just boilerplate concern trolling.

But I know, "some are saying..."

If this is the best the VRWC can do, they've really lost their fastball. Time was they'd have a conspiracy about how the Democratic candidate was conspiring with the Russians and...

On second thought, maybe they better not go with that. :p

In news that actually is concerning, Martin Shkreli appears to be a real world Forrest Gump.

Silver? I'm still depressed about Garrison Keillor and the wife-beating. Adams is just a self-beguiled, sophomoric attention whore, but harmless.

Hillary Clinton: "I'm feeling great!"
Her doctor: "She has pneumonia."

To those who've had pneumonia (I never have; I specialize in bronchitis ;) ), would you say you felt great?

Before Notre Dame's first Frozen Four in 2008 the girlfriends teenage son was diagnosed with pneumonia. He was a quiet kid, junior in high school at the time, never was real communicative but he was barely symptomatic. Like a lot of conditions, there are levels of suffering. His was mild enough and being treated well enough that his mother did not miss going to Denver and did not try to make me feel guilty for wanting to go. As for the fainting, for anyone who has ever fainted, quite often within minutes of being "revived" one can feel as normal as ever. 2 hours after the fact, with some IV hydration and other quick treatment, it does not surprise me at all that she could say she felt great. She did not look any worse than normal Friday when she was putting her foot in her mouth.

Proof yet again that just because someone can blog doesn't mean they should. Are people really that fragile that the sight of someone succumbing to pneumonia no matter the date makes them feel unsafe? Despite what is actually happening on our own soil? Trump can have those votes.

I am still debating whether I agree with you or not, in general, but we are in a nation with "safe-zones" on college campuses, which I think is utterly insane and idiotic.

I look at the puerile reasoning some people in my life use when coming to major decisions and realized long ago that people do not advance in their use of logic or attention span beyond a 8th or 9th grade. Then again, a few people in this thread...

Who gets pneumonia in the summer? I normally associate that malady with flu season.

I've had it a couple of times. Once was a week into HS soccer season. So around this time of the year.

I thought I was going to die trying run even a hundred yards.

CBS Radio this morning talked briefly about this. Also had a sound bite from Trump who said he had a physical over the weekend and is waiting to release that information too.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XVII: If debates are great theater, I think this one closes e

Here's my opinion.

There is a lot of pride in that segment of the population. Pride in the difficulty of the jobs they perform. Pride in the fact that they may choose to figure out how to fix their own car, or put food on the table by fishing or hunting for it themselves. Pride in their families. Pride in the fact that even without a fancy education they, and their forefathers, have been able to carve out an existence.

I think they also feel it slipping away, and they don't feel like there is anyone they can trust to help them prevent that. They don't see government as a solution. They see government as a facilitator of the problem. Their neighbor writes a bad check and he gets convicted of a felony. Someone on Wall Street steals $20 million and they make a movie about them.

Donald Trump speaks to those feelings. Personally I think they're going to be disappointed in Trump's solutions, but they are certain Clinton doesn't hold the answers.

I've posted this theory before, but it bears restating. The Democratic Party is going to face this exact problem in the coming years. Everyone laughs at Trump when he asks African American voters, "can it get any worse?" But I guarantee you somewhere deep within the African American community that question will resonate. Trump isn't going to see the fruits of it, but that's not the last time that question will be asked, and they're going to realize the same thing rural white voters have realized. The two choices we're presented with every four years are not the answer.

So the person who speaks to the values of people who work hard, build things and do their own repair work is a trust fund billionaire who has never worked a day in his life and has had dozens of businesses fail putting thousands of people out work? No offense but if that is the case the people in question are dumber than even Kepler gives them credit for. It takes all of 1 minute to research and find out that Drumpf wants nothing to do with those type of people except to fleece them. He represents them about as much as I represent the Neo-Nazi movement.

... has never worked a day in his life and has had dozens of businesses fail putting thousands of people out work?

Mrs. Clinton will do that for thousands in the coal, steel, and energy industries.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XVII: If debates are great theater, I think this one closes e

Mrs. Clinton admired Elanor Roosevelt. If she gets back to the White House, after yesterday it seems she may assume the role of FDR and Bill becomes Elanor.
