In my next life, I want to live with, work with, or somehow be close enough to Rachel Maddow to have regular exposure to her wit and intelligence.

I realize I have some work to do in this life to qualify. :)

those who can, do
those who can't, teach
those who can't teach, teach gym
those who can't teach gym read the news.

You gotta love joe. The smoking gun is juuuuuuuust out of reach. If only we try a little harder! :D

I wonder if this is the e-mail that she tells ISIS where the key to the back door of the embassy is, or is it the one where she orders the Ambassador to stand on the front steps with a bulls-eye on his chest?

One of the talking heads this AM was spouting off about the "against vote" saying that many who will vote Trump don't support him but are actually voting against HRC (and vice versa).

I've said for a while this year comes down to who best does a "get out the vote against" campaign.

Humor may be our salvation on 11/9
@johnhawkinsrwn: Hannity got good ratings out of pushing Trump. Palin got back in the spotlight for 5 min. Coulter got a new book. The rest of us got Hillary

This pretty much happens every other cycle. Probably as old as the Republic save for George Washington who ran unopposed.

I always wonder if this is really true. He's considered to have been elected unanimously because each elector cast 2 votes and 1 of them was in every case for Washington.

But was he really unopposed? Did he get every vote cast by the people for the elector slates? This seems to say so but it's obvious that the vote totals are just pro-rated on the relative percentage of federalist and anti-federalist electoral votes per state.

I guess the best argument for unopposed would be if every elector on every state ballot ran as pro-Washington.

This is a thing of beauty. I guarantee it will be reported as fact unironically by the Echo Chamber for years.

"Do the Benghazi. I'm dying of cancerAIDS of the brain anyway so what does it matter?"

Trump is considering meeting with the President of Mexico(who once compared Trump to Hitler and Mussolini) tomorrow just before his big immigration speech. That should be fun.

Nice timing for this Mother Jones story on Trump Model Management (85% owned by Trump), which has been having European women come to the US on tourist visas and working illegally as models. And worse, the models are forced to live under terrible conditions. Trump Model Management had the models lie to immigration officials about their status during their visit to the US and about their whereabouts. Yet another Conman Trump example of "do as I say, not as I do."

There is an old Romulan proverb, "Only Trump could go to Mexico."

The DNC must be throwing an absolute crapload of money in the MN 2nd Congressional District race this year because the Angie Craig ads are pretty much non-stop this year. I have yet to see a single ad from her opposition.

Makes me happy I'm in the north metro. I've seen nary a political ad all year, other than the occasional Stewart Mills ponytail flashback. Then it makes me sad because I know why I haven't. At least they took down that Pray Away the Gay ad on Highway 10.

Trump(and Rudy!) going to Mexico before his big speech is interesting. Trump has quickly developed a reputation among his advisors/other influence seekers as a guy that strongly believes whatever the last person he spoke to told him. Maybe he'll come out this tomorrow saying we should build a bridge or an eight-lane highway instead of a wall.

If Drumpf takes even a half step back the Palin Wing of his shaky coalition will destroy him. All he has is immigration and even softening a bit caused them to lose their lunch...if he backs down after meeting El Presidente the last bastion of money he has will walk away. Not to mention no one in the middle will all of a sudden trust him after a massive flip flop.

My guess is he will talk about how well it went and how they are on the same page and then Mexico will deny it and rip him a new one. that is what he wants, this is a full on troll move just like when he met with the Senate Republicans.

Keep running it that out there as if 1) it matters 2) that's a fully contextual representation of the event.
