There you go.

And Grind, accuse me of copping out? Here's your article. I don't comment on something unless I read about something.

Great, you posted a link. But, I believe you were asked to articulate why the leaked emails constitute "Throwing him under the bus."

So basically, someone--privately, mind you--suggested, "Hey, what about this idea," it was promptly nixed, and never went any further than that. That's as big of a nothingburger as you can find. There's probably more salacious **** in my grandmother's email.

Nice cop out. Obviously YOU didn't read the article, showing that the DNC was steering towards Hillary. That's kind of a no-no. Hence the resignation.

Here's the info you requested.

Yeah, that's not really proof, despite that is exactly what I asked for.

And people wonder why we're divided as a nation. I need to stop banging my head against the wall thinking things will change.

You said he was "railroaded" and provided zero proof that any sort of action was taken against him.

What was there for me to cop out of? I didn't make any sort of claim or assertion. You are really...something.

Michelle Obama is what a real First Lady sounds like when you don't pick her out of a Slovenian swimsuit catalog. Can we vote for her?

She's so good she got to speak at both conventions.

It's good to hear a convention where the speakers actually list policies and ideas they would like to see implemented. I'm centrist, so I don't agree with some of them, but you know what, it's good to actually know what they would like to get passed so I know what to expect and so I can do what I can to encourage/discourage them if they get elected. It's a great alternative to such winners as the best trade deals, or the best intelligence, or replacing Obamacare with something amazing that I can't go into the details of.

Dude...just stop. He wasnt railroaded he was beat. The DNC took zero action to block him, they just didnt want him to win. They didnt rig anything, they didnt force anyone to vote a specific way they just preferred Hillary.

The email scandal is no different than when Sony was hacked. Embarrassing yes but beyond that nothing.

(and I say this as an unabashed Bernie Supporter)

I will say that Michelle Obama has been the classiest First Lady since Barbara Bush. No question.

Holy shiza, Colbert could not have ended that interview with Weiner fast enough. So obvious. :D

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XV: Before & After: Dancing in the Streets of Philadelphia!

There's a great contrast of homepages for the news networks online right now. CNN, NBC, CBS, and ABC all have stories on the speeches with sidebars on Bernie supporters booing. Fox News has a bullet list with 12 items, 10 of which are direct or implied attacks on Clinton.

"Fair and balanced." :p

MSNBC has a story on Sarah Silverman's speech. (?)

Nate Silver live-blogging from the floor of the convention also said something interesting: from the floor itself, the booing from the Sanders people is drowned out by the rest of the noise and in particular applause for the speakers. It may be that the networks have strategically placed their people (and mics) in delegations which are the most feisty. Silver said he wasn't even aware of the "Bernie supporters being disruptive" narrative until he read coverage. It was not the vibe on the floor.

Also something not being pointed out on the majors: apparently the crowds and energy in Philadelphia are enormous compared to Cleveland. Cleveland apparently felt staid and inert while Philly is electric.

For those who are a bit afraid / disgusted to see Trump with a slight lead in RCP's aggregate national poll *, here is some good news: in the state poll aggregates, Clinton leads in PA, OH, WI, IA, VA, NC and NH. Trump leads only in FL and GA.

* Interestingly, in the national poll, when Johnson and Stein are included, Clinton goes back into the lead.

Hearing the Sanders supporters are going to boo Clinton ALL WEEK. That's going to be fantastic TV and horrible for the Democratic Party.

Sanders has had to tell his supporters to shut the **** up and it's not happening.
Clinton is what they think is wrong with America, why wouldn't they boo.? If you think its bad now wait till Wiki releases some more Emails

Come on dude you're smarter than this. There's nothing that's been presented that indicates he was railroaded and you're only supporting that argument by failing to post a single comment (although several would be preferred) from any link that explains why that statement is true. For someone that states you have no rooting interest in Trump I'm not seeing anything from you that suggests anything but. :)

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XV: Before & After: Dancing in the Streets of Philadelphia!

It would be ironic and more than a little satisfying if the GOP strategy of fear mongering bit them in the arse, with a difference-making number of voters being motivated to get out and vote blue by cold hard fear of what a Trump presidency could mean.

That part was the whole delegate system.

I am not a fan of Bernie at all, either, but he got railroaded.

Uh, Bernie would have still lost without superdelegates. Yes, the DNC wanted Hillary, but didn't do anything to interfere with voting. And why wouldn't the DNC favor Hillary? Bernie wasn't even a Democrat until he decided to run for president and be the standard bearer for the party.

(I'm a Bernie supporter by the way)

Trump is such a bad choice it shouldn't even be close, but people like you are going to end up getting him elected because the right has had a hard on for attacking Hillary and you fell for it.
