To be fair, I'm watching the CNN coverage from 2 a.m. on TiVo and their headline is "Similarities between Melania Trump and Michelle Obama Speeches."

It is amazing, though, when you see them side by side. It is flat-out plagiarism. Such incompetence for the Trump campaign. Melania should add another zero to her monthly check for lying back and thinking of England.

Or, all wives say the same things about their husbands.

It's hilarious to watch CNN tip toe and treat Melania like Miss South Carolina. They know the fury is coming from the short-fingered vulgarian. It is amazing after 8 years of watching the Echo Chamber demonize Michelle. I guess that's a compliment: they hold her to the standard of an adult, while Melania is protected like a not overly bright infant.

If I decided to vote for Hillary, it would be no more an endorsement. IF I voted, and I have already stated I won't be voting, this year's election it'd be because I'm looking for the littlest amount accomplished. I think Hillary will (badly) accomplish more. I don't think Trump would accomplish anything.

It's not an either/or subject. There are many shades of gray.

If you are feeling disenchanted with two major party candidates consider Johnson / Weld. Even if you don't agree with them on every issue they are two honest governors with successful track records. The fact that they were Republicans who were hugely popular in democratic states shows you that they are the type who will work with both parties to get things done.

This whole Melania speech thing....it's just.....wow. It's 2016. Do they not know how easy it would be to find Michelle's speech?? I mean, come on. It was only 8 years ago!! If you are feeling disenchanted with two major party candidates consider Johnson / Weld. Even if you don't agree with them on every issue they are two honest governors with successful track records. The fact that they were Republicans who were hugely popular in democratic states shows you that they are the type who will work with both parties to get things done.

I completely understand a message vote--I've done it. But whether or not they can work with both parties means nothing if they cannot get elected.

Well, it's not like they are going to win anyway, but...

the Johnson climate change stance is a non-starter for me. He says climate change is real, and is man made. Okay, cool, he believes in science. However, his solution is "do nothing and the free market will fix it". He's lost all credibility with me on that one VERY important issue.

Handy I'm astounded! That was a clear, rational, and well thought out rant! What's next, Scooby admits that Scott Walker will not become President in this lifetime? Fishy admits that John Roberts cornholed him on the ACA ruling? Flaggy admits his life hasn't been the same since his inflatable companion sprung a leak?

Probably the worst convention night I've ever seen, and I do tend to watch these. Even the open racism wasn't a surprise, nor that one political party apparently wants leading candidates of the opposition party thrown in jail without a trail, which is sorta banana republicesque. Or at least Nixonian. The GOP is the party of angry old uneducated white males upset that the country doesn't look like it did 50 years ago.

To top off the night of lies, Trump called into Fox News, live from the RNC, hours before making his appearance and apparently bored with his own speaker lineup.... and claimed that He "chose Cleveland to host this event for him."
