This is prelim stuff that is playing to the base. I will watch the acceptance speech. That's the important stuff where tD will sell himself to the Nation.

And I will do the same for the coronation in Philly.

Folks, Brent here is saying that trump and the republicans aren't going to get anything done. He is saying it's going to be like Minnesota with Ventura.

It's dangerously misguided.

That's my guess. And as we've seen with this election cycle, who knows what the hell is going to happen. No one figured Trump would even be a serious candidate, much less THE candidate for the GOP. Now, don't worry, I'm not voting for either of these embarrassing people. Hell, I'd rather write in your name, dx. :eek: :D

Frankly, this is the election that is similar to the redonkulous elections in other countries that Americans laugh at. It's horrible.

I'll lurk a little in this thread after this post, but I think my dabbling here is done.

As with Palin/Obama in the past, where we should have celebrated finally electing either a female or an African-American to be in the front office, when (IMO) Hillary gets elected as prez, we should be celebrating our first female president. However, it will be for the wrong reasons. She was the lesser evil (arguably) of the candidates shoved down our throats. I hope the day comes where we actually can celebrate a GOOD candidate, no matter what race/gender.

Oh **** off. We've had almost 30 years of right wing radio telling us Hillary is evil. The average person who hates Hillary couldn't give a single reason that isn't based on a right wing trope.

Be it Benghazi, the email "scandal", or anything else.

She's a class act and has the single best resume we've seen in many of our lifetimes.

Considering the FBI said, in so many words, that she was beyond careless and incompetent, I don't want that person running our country.

And I don't appreciate the "eff off" commentary. I disagree with many a person, but I will listen and discuss and hopefully find some common ground, or a solution, etc, while being respectful.

After you left bbdl's on Sat, soh and I got into a...terse discussion about politics/cops/current issues. Went until 3am. We disagreed on a LOT, but we were always civil, and always trying to find some sort of compromise we BOTH thought would work. I ask the same of you (and anyone else who disagrees with me).

Lies left and right (just google trump veteran charity for starters)
Has already alienated our allies with his comments
Has an unnatural obsession with social media
Has an unnatural obsession with his dick size
Has the vocabulary of a teenager
Fake tans
Wears a tie so low hat it tickles his sack
Is on his third marriage
Hasn't put forth a single explanation of any of his policies
Is overly vulgar

He really knows his target demographics! All he's missing is some coon dogs lying underneath the stage and a broken car on blocks in the parking lot. Wait... scratch that, here's the banged up car.. So, all he needs is some coon dogs sleeping under the RNC stage.

Show me where I said I was ok with Trump. I think he's a smart individual that knows how to con the average person. That's the closest to a compliment you'll get from me. He has NO business running this country.

You posted on Facebook that if you voted today you would likely vote for trump. I don't care about your reasoning, a vote is an endorsement of the candidate.

If I decided to vote for Hillary, it would be no more an endorsement. IF I voted, and I have already stated I won't be voting, this year's election it'd be because I'm looking for the littlest amount accomplished. I think Hillary will (badly) accomplish more. I don't think Trump would accomplish anything.

It's not an either/or subject. There are many shades of gray.

A vote is an endorsement. It is the definition of an official endorsement.

What will Hillary do that is "bad"?
