They control both Houses. Take control and it'll stop. The Democrats in recent history had both Houses. They lost them on stupidity and a soon to be failed Health Care Law.

Scoobs, you seem a little butthurt that Clinton wasn't indicted. Sorry Bernie can't win the nomination that way but since the dude is senile anyway its probably for the best, no? :D

Dems lost the House by doing the right thing, passing healthcare reform and financial regulation. I'm proud of that and if you were really a lefty and not a loon you would be too. Would you prefer the Dems be more like the GOP, an ineffectual party who the last time they had control of the govt gave us the Iraq War and tax cuts for billionaire campaign contributors?

No, I was on the side of them doing it. They did a poor job selling it and a worse job implementing it. And a lot of things have gotten bad since the Trolls took over Congress. They may not have passed any laws but they did a lot of damage.

Should be "this is the last time we use govt resources to investigate a knuckledragger made up scandal."

Obviously the notion of an indictment was always silly--it required the willful ignorance of the types of acts that have led to charges in the past. But, the investigation revealed that she was extremely careless with information that was already classified, and not just low level classified. I don't know, sort of sounds like this was legit to me. What am I missing here?

I don't mind an FBI inquiry, but a year to figure this out is absurd. How long does it take to read 30,000 e-mails and figure out their source? Most of the e-mails are probably one sentence in length. Its a total waste of government resources when we have a lot bigger fish to fry like lone wolf terrorists for example. Much like the 8th Benghazi investigative committee.

The Republicans are going to lose the election not because of some scandal that wasn't discovered on time. Its because they're an out of touch group of bigoted ideologues who keep nominating unelectable candidates.

What I got from Comey sounds a little like this:
Mrs. Clinton knew the speed limit on I-29 in ND is 75 mph. She hopped into the driver's seat of a running car (with no seat belts*) and hit resume on the cruise control not knowing what the prior driver set the cruise at. But she saw the speedometer and still went with it. She got pulled over doing 82 mph**. Trooper Comey didn't cite her.

Still lots and lots of space to question the smarts (integrity?) of everyone involved.

**See that +7 there; did that in honor of 7 top secret email strings. ;)

Sure, if you add the important piece of context that no one has ever been cited in ND for going seven over.

Not bad.

Hillary was hired as driver of a Brinks truck. None of her predecessors had ever locked the door despite training and warning labels to do just that. Hillary left the door unlocked and in addition she parked the truck in her driveway at night instead of at the guarded bank lot. Her defense is she never looked in the back of the truck and had no idea whether there were any sacks of money in it.

She is now interviewing to become president of the bank.

No, when 70 mph became 75 mph they strictly enforced at 80 mph. Now they've gotten mushy. (That's speaking about NDHP, not this situation, ... or maybe it is ... )

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XIII: Clinton destrueretur est. Trump est destruetur. Vox Pop

I was responding to the post you quoted.

Oh. Sorry -- my emphasis was on the lack of indictment.

Other than a few simple souls who believe what they hear in the Echo Chamber, I don't think anybody is butthurt because I don't think anybody expected an indictment. It clearly did not rise to that level.

It was arrogant and reckless but not criminal behavior. The investigation was purely a political stunt.

For someone who thought she e-mailed top secret info to ISIS, you seem to be taking this well Sic. :D

That gives me such a warm-fuzzy ...

I was still in analogy land there. :)

Don't worry. The bank president just speaks at CoC dinners and schmoozes with presidents of other banks. She never touches the money.

Re: Campaign 2016 Part XIII: Clinton destrueretur est. Trump est destruetur. Vox Pop

That Bernie wants to close. :)

The joke is, David Stockman robbed the bank 35 years ago and there's been nothing in the vault but promissory notes ever since.
