If that had happened outside of a tD rally would people's reaction be different? Agree no one should be agitating but many women are taught to swing and ask questions later if groped. Pepper spray is waaaay over reacting to a 15 yr old swinging unless she had a tire iron.

Except that's not what happened. She was allegedly groped and then stuck around to argue. She took a swing not at the alleged groper but someone else.

Do we know that? In the video Creepy Old Fart who groped her steps out of frame to bottom left. At that point she's yelling at him. She throws the punch to out of frame left. That could be at COF. The pepper spray comes from out of frame left, too. I think we know COF didn't pepper spray her, so it could be that Pepper Spraying F-ckwit was the target of her punch, or PSF could have been a third party. Meanwhile, the other gorillas are screaming "get the b-tch!" and "n-gger lover!" at her. Just good old 'Muricans who love their freedumb.

From her eye movements I think you are right and COF, PSF, and the target of her punch are three distinct morons. But I'm not sure that's established fact.

Thank god Stand Your Ground Psycho wasn't there, or we'd have a dead 15-year old and the Echo Chamber would be calling SYGP a hero. (Well, maybe not, since the 15-year old girl was white.)

It's been a couple days since I watched, but I recall:
- Gay haired guy has some papers in his hand, and when he's arguing with her he pokes her in the chest with his papers, like you might poke someone on the shoulder. Granted poking someone at all during in argument is never a smart idea if you're not trying to escalate, and while I'm not a mind-reader I can't believe he's fully unaware that he's poking her chest of all places.
- She then yells that he groped and assaulted her, for a little bit, and then swings at the gray-haired guy. Now, saying groped/assaulted is definitely over-stating it, even though I think he chose where he poked to provoke her. But the first person to upgrade a fracas to punching is always going to lose the battle of public opinion, so she's not doing herself any favors there.
- The pepper spray guy starts out in the back and is making his way forward to whole time. He's just looking for something to go wrong so he can use the pepper spray that, let's face it, he brought to the really knowing he was going to use it on some protester. The second the swing occurs he's more than got it at the ready, and then he slinks out like the pencil-dick he is.

The first two people both could have avoided escalating things, but this is garden variety people getting overheated and not taking a second to step back and breathe. Not great by any means, but normal heated stuff. The pepper spray guy is the real ******* here; he came to the whole rally looking to cause crap, because he thinks he such a tough guy. Now he's back home watching Eastwood movies 24/7.

The girl definitely lost her sh-t, but good god the crowd reaction is terrifying. They sound exactly the same as a Somali mob getting ready to drag a body through the streets, because they are exactly the same.

First thing is if she were groped that shouldn't happen, but she clearly escalated the situation and if she did in fact punch someone can't say I blame them for using pepper spray.

About 50 seconds into the video, after the "All lives matter" chant begins to subside, it sounds like someone is chanting "kill them all"...I assume referring to black people. Am I hearing that right?
