No, if true, he's going to ask forgiveness from his voters as he's already done with God and his wife. Because people love the story of a fallen person who's making things right.

Meanwhile, the wife is standing off to the side of the stage staring laser beams through the back of his head.

This is such a flipping beautiful image; I really wish you'd photoshop it. :)

So was Jesus.

I suspect Jesus would regard Christians as idol-worshipping heathens.

True but the Crazy Christians don't like to remember that. I have met more than one who don't like to be reminded he lived and died a Jew. It is amazing what the brain can do to adjust things to what you want to believe.

I'm really not a photoshop guy. I've never even seen the application in use.

Did they present themselves as Bible thumpers or otherwise morally superior to everyone else?

That's where I'm at on this. Everybody knew Clinton was stepping out before he got elected (which is not to excuse his behavior). Cruz is running on a God Endorsed ME! platform. IF, and its a big IF, this is true, I don't see how he survives it.

As much as I hate Tailgunner Ted and wish nothing but the worst on him, and as much as this would be yet another (the millionth?) case of the Family Values party exposed as a hilarious (and lucrative) practical joke on the Thumpers, in this case... (1) it's the National Enquirer, and (2) given the insanity and stupidity of Ted's pastor father, I am willing to bet he actually believes all his Nice Albeit Zombie NT Son God with Psychotic OT Father God nonsense.

It worked for Boston Ted - and Arkansas Bill.

A complete list of all the Presidents who didn't cheat on their wives.

(1) Buchanan (reason: gay)
(2) Nixon (lucky enough to get one woman to hit that)
(3) Carter (living saint)
(4) Obama (that look Michelle gets when you cross her will freeze your blood)

The End

Teddy was a Kennedy. His clan was elevated to the Pantheon of saints 50 years ago.

Bill is from Arkansas. That giant sucking sound you hear....

And if Jimmy Swaggert can get away with it - anyone can. Not that they should, but people forgive a lot even as I scratch my head and wonder why.

John Adams?

Nah she will be like Kobe's wife...spend her time looking at the huge piece of bling on her finger ;)

No but the list of GOPers who have been caught doing crap like this and never have to pay for it is loooooooooooooooooooooong! Better to screw around and ask for forgiveness than to try and keep it secret ;)

A Christian who doesn't get the concept of undeserved forgiveness? Now I've seen everything.

I'm not saying they weren't philanderers, but I also don't recall the Kennedys or Clintons claiming to be the moral compass for all Americans, unlike the religious right.

I can more easily forgive philandering from a politician elected to govern than hypocrisy about said philandering.

That sounds about right

Hate to comment on speculation, but if Calgary Ted has in fact been banging chicks on the side, does he drop out? Normally I wouldn't impose this standard, but if you're going to present yourself as God's Chosen One, you should at least walk the walk...

It depends, how do they look?
