Because a giant glass dome would have absolutely no warming effect on the contents of that dome? I'd swear there was a name for structures designed with that very purpose in mind. What was that term again?

You must learn to understand clear sarcasm when you see it. ;)

There's no guarantee on what's supposed to be sarcasm, what's supposed to be a troll post, or what's sincere insanity when it comes to your posts.

United Airlines is replacing its quarterly bonuses with a lottery.

If that's not strike worthy, those unions need to just dissolve.

How does that even become a thing they propose?

Wouldn't the unions support giving the limited bonuses to those who paid into the union the longest, and the company wants to be a bit more fair about it to all employees? With the way airlines have been with finances in the past number of years, I'm shocked it's fiscally sound to give out bonuses.

You need to take another look at their profits ever since the universal introduction of "basic" economy and ancillary fees.

Has anyone actually met Flaggy? How do we know he's not a Russian bot?

McDonald's can't even keep their ice cream machines working. I think human burger flippers are safe for a few more years.

They've started replacing their existing ice cream machines with ones that require less maintenance (as in failures) and are faster to clean. That initiative started last year, and is likely another one of the steps to reducing the number of employees required per location.

West Virginia teachers end their two week long strike after the legislature finally gives them a raise.

Good on them.

Some democrats (about a dozen or so according to the article, including Tim Kaine Hillary's VP pick) decided to help out Republicans with banking deregulation and the rollback of Dodd-Frank (one of Obama's few meaningful accomplishments). Can't imagine why they lost so badly in 2016... https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/3/6/17081508/senate-banking-bill-crapo-regulation

Bribery. It gets the job done.
