Business, Economics, and Taxes: Eat Cereal for Dinner

Need to break down the bribes, too.
Right? I've always thought that would be a fascinating project. Take a product, like the Skechers someone mentioned, and just trace the $60 all the way through. You'd have all of these threads you'd follow. If it's $19 shipping, why is it $19 shipping? Where does that money go once it hits the shipper?

Bessent was on CNBC saying he "heard gas in Florida is $1.93" calling it a tax cuts and saying car travel this summer will increase.

Leaving aside that he is lying and gas is nowhere near that cheap...are we supposed to all drive to Florida and buy there?

You don't think businesses do that already?
Not to the extent I'm talking about, because ultimately you'll get down to just tiny fractions of pennies in every thread.

For instance, if the shipping for the product was $19, and all of that goes to the shipper, then what is that $19 for? Some of it, let's say $4.75 is for fuel. So one of the threads you'd follow is the fuel thread, and so on.

Gas in Florida, where I live , is $3.20. Yes, cheap by national standards, but let’s be serious.

Seattle was bad but like, it wasn't the red klaxon this is. This is a really bad sign...
Yeah...China literally turned their boats around when Trump announced the tariffs. LA has been warning about it for weeks.

The real bad sign is Trump is talking about it publicly...

But why? He said Americans wouldn't have to pay tariffs - China and the other countries would. Shouldn't he want to advertise his success in making them pay?
Well, because the tariffs written right there on the invoice shows them that isn't true, that it's actually they who are paying the tariffs.

Without that information right there in black and white, he can keep on deluding his moronic followers that no, actually, Jhina is paying those tariffs, and the US is raking money in hand over fist.

Right. That's why HE says it would be bad. But why do the spinsters on Fox News and OAN say? Why does his cult think it would be bad? They usually have some kind of spin other than just "because he says so"
