Trump says little kids will just have to get over not getting Christmas presents next December. Biden must a scrooge for doing that to those kids.

We need an inflation thread, my wifes Skechers sneakers have gone from 40 to 60 bucks on amazon

Prices are never coming back down. The big sellers like Amazon, Apple etc will pass the price increase on to consumers, then quietly get a break from the sentient pumpkin to exempt them from the tariff. But why bother lowering prices? That's just extra profit they can pocket. Any smaller companies who don't have the resources to pay bribes will go under anyway, so no competition.

What did the pumpkin do this afternoon anyway? I set an order to reshort the market in case it spiked for some reason and just before close I got an alert on my phone that the trade had gone through. I assume he said something to make the market go crazy.

Tesla board thid morning claiming publicly the WaPo story is false. Say they only approached Musk a month ago asking him to focus on Tesla.

Privately, I have a hunch it was true, but they don't want to anger the ketamine junkie.

I'm all in favor of including the information. In fact, I think it would be extraordinarily useful and interesting if on every invoice or bill we ever received there was a complete breakdown of where the money went. And to go even further, for that part that is considered "profit" to the business, where that money went.

We would obviously have very long invoices that everyone would soon ignore, but I think it would be fun to see where the money for those $60 Skechers goes when materials are probably about $2.50 a pair.

Senator Murphy was on this morning saying that this is the most corrupt administration ever. Of course. But, that is what America wanted. The black lady was too scary.
