No Quarter for Fascists
UP tourism is mainly from downstate and Wisconsin. The Sconnies like to flee futher north when FIBs from Chicago invade their turf all summer. But every year there are a number of visitors to Pictured Rocks who aren't speaking English - mostly Japanese, Germans, and (pre-war) a few Russians. Of course, most of the Canadians would be anglophones. Munising and Grand Marais will take that hit.I wasn't even really thinking of Florida. I was thinking about all the places along the Canadian border, the UP and Upstate New York especially.
The Soo will likely feel the impact, as well as any Canadian-owned logging, quarrying, mining or mining-adjacent companies that may still be operating up there.
