C'mon man, not every contractor is MAGA. The guy who did our kitchen last fall thinks Trump is an a55hole and a loser. That said, I also don't make a habit out of probing my service providers for their political views before I hire them, and neither do the vast majority of people. :-p

My point is that every corporation is probably founded by a trumper and now owned by blackrock and vanguard.

Great comments! I must admit I don't know much about economics now, but that is going to change as I've become a student. I like that priceless came back, commented on a comment about twitter links, said something like he slaves away in the kitchen to make this a better place, left the link ban in place, and disappeared again.

Don't forget he threw snark at centrists first and then got upset when one of them (me) threw pretty minimal snark back at him about the Twitter links.

The worst part is I don't disagree that Twitter et al are generally bad for everyone, but that doesn't mean you should break links to it.

Well especially when the site is barely functional as is.

No message board I go to has this kind of batcrap crazy policy...but then again they actually care about their user base. Whoever the phuck runs this place stopped caring a long time ago. They dont even come around once in a blue moon to try and smooth things over...they just want this to die like it is an old AOL account or something.
 
The CEO of Rumble, the alternative to YouTube favored by conservatives and also the cloud hosting provider for Truth Social, has floated the idea of buying TikTok from ByteDance.

With Musk turning Xitter into a toxic hellhole favoring far-right opinions, it seems Rumble would be poised to do the same for TikTok and its army of influencers. With all the impressionable kids addicted to TikTok, this is arguably a much bigger concern.

The CEO of Bytedance was just at Mar-a-Lago... they won't need to sell to Rumble Trump. Trump flipped on that line he did Budvl Light.

Maddow did a great segment on it.

Hell even Bannon is saying Trump sold out!

I expected TikTok to be like an order of magnitude larger in price than something like Rumble
