That’s awesome, should be posted every time a moron posts the map that shows how every county in the us voted to try and make everyone think that most of the US votes Republican

Conserv-a-derps are out in full force this week in foodie circles here in Chicagoland. The $14/$8.40 minimum wages is gonna destroy the restaurant world as we know it.

This is coming on the backs of several places announcing that they will be closing their doors.

It's amazing how mad these Derps get when they can't get their pizza and burgers that they like. And then in the very next sentence they are ranting about how someone flipping burgers doesn't deserve $14/hour.

Can't wait for a year from now when a majority of these whiney restaurant owners find their profit margin hasn't changed just like when they b*tched about having to go smoke-free in 2008 and how "it's going to put us out of business!!!" and then they found out people actually wanted to eat out more if they could dine without a tobacco haze over everything.

Chapter 11 Bankruptcy is basically a normal business practice now isn't it?

If management wants to consolidate debts and restructure the company, with the goal of emerging as a surviving organization, yes.

Chapter 7 is when you're fully liquidating/going out of business.

Chapter 13 is Chapter 11 for the self-employed and sole proprietors ("wage-earners") whose personal assets are at-risk if they cannot pay their business debts.
