I mean maybe a corporation is buying a 2M house but…not to rent. What’s funny is a rambler a few doors down from me just sold for under 600k and it took weeks. A couple is moving in and I was almost shocked to hear it won’t be a rental. But here the 7 figure homes go much faster than 500k and it has partially be because of upgrades required.

I live within 3 blocks of 3 Edina schools so I should retain my value, we’ll see .

the Koivu house is finally for sale if anyone has a few million to spend

Interesting...

Apparently Target has a townhouse complex near me on lockdown for their hires. The places look like trash!

Financial situation now is really difficult. Financial situation now is really difficult. I don't have permanent work, so sometimes I have to take loans to pay for something. I was saving money for a long time to buy a new car but it seems never enough. Thanks God, I found bridgecrest reviews and decided to take loan there. I bought a car and now paying off my loan, but terms are good, so I don't worry at all.

Look borschtbot, you tell Putin I said that if you can't get basic grammar and syntax right, that you should be fed through the wood chipper.

You also can't resell it for a year. So the free speech guy who then censored people is also a free business guy who wants to limit what you can buy and sell.

Wait.

So if you buy a new 2024 Tesla now, you can't sell it in July if you decide it's not for you?

What do they do? Remotely disable it for anyone other than the original owner?

You can petition and file for extenuating circumstance and they’ll potentially allow you to sell. If they refuse and you still try, they can file injunctive relief …blah blah legal jargon up to 50k

oh and they can ban you from purchasing teslas in the future lmao

I thought the point of it was to prevent people from getting into line for an EV, getting it, then immediately flipping it to someone else? Didn't Ford do the same thing with their EV truck and the EV Mustang?

You guys are against investors buying houses and then flipping them to make a profit. Why not cars too?

If I flip a house I'm not getting sued by the builder...

This stinks more of stock schemes where they need you to hold so the investors can recoup their cash and pull out. Common crypto scam called a rug pull. Also what Wallstreetbets pulled on AMC and Gamestop.

If he wants to blackball I 100% get that...suing doesn't pass the smell test and you know it.

How about sensible regulations for a sensible society? Doesn't seem like too much to ask. Instead we placate fucking billionaire's and everyone's happy about it.

I’ll run this one in here since it seems to fit best:

Bankruptcy judge approves deal between NBA and Bally Sports to finish season. Similar deal with NHL expected. MLB and Sinclair objecting to deal.

I honestly wonder how long these leagues can continue to paper over the cracks with the jersey sponsorships, virtual ads, and gambling deals? Feels like the bottom is going to fall out eventually, at least for the small market teams.

This is one of many profit bubbles that is gonna burst in the next 10 years. It's gonna be a bloodbath once things go "pop!"...

Yes. I have only a few qualms with these purchase agreements. Nothing major. I despise scalpers in all their forms.

From what I've read, there are some potential issues with how Tesla wrote the agreement. But resale bans are perfectly legal and enforceable.

It's the same with tickets to concerts that have your name printed on it and are matched with IDs. Fuck scalpers. Fuck resale. If you want to go to the concert, buy the ticket. If you just want to profit, do something productive instead of just being a parasite like a CEO.

Except again...the artist isn't suing you for scalping the ticket.

But the suit is to enforce that ban. I imagine if ticket king tried to pull some stunt they might get sued not necessarily for damages but to prevent the transaction from happening.

Scalpers do pull stunts...and we aren't talking about an injuction we are talking about 50k bucks. It's just not the same thing.
