The NLRB is literally like the weather. If you don’t like it today, stick around, it’ll be different tomorrow.

More theories on 737Max

I've watched more than a few flight videos on YouTube. On a few, the pilot turns on the autopilot soon (like right after wheels up) after take off. He's not flying - he's pushing buttons. If something goes wrong with the systems, he msy not have enough stick and rudder time to make a difference.

Maybe they should fly the plane up to 10,000 feet before turning on the autopilot??

Re: Business, Economics, and Tax Policy 8: Bezos Takes Over the World

It was always my understanding that pilots are required to manually fly one landing per workday, but maybe that's not true, and it also says nothing about takeoff scenarios.

All landings are manual except CAT III approaches that require autoland. Autopilot must be turned off by 50 ft. AGL. Some approaches (such as the runway 22 ILS in LGA) can't be flown with the autopilot at all. Our procedures don't allow it to be turned on until the aircraft is cleaned up (gear and flaps retracted) and we reach what's called the acceleration altitude. Usually about 1000 ft or so off the ground. From my anecdotal experience, they will also manually fly when avoiding weather on climbout before turning it on.

Also, it's hard enough to convince them to fly MIA EYW without one...:D

Sam Bee explains how MLMs aren't just an awful business model (as we know they are), but how they're also largely exploiting women.

JFC those leggings are hilariously bad.

Does he realize Austria has a far right coalition?

This guy is regarded as part of the conservative brain trust. This is the best they've got.

The F students formed their own political party and regard the C students as brilliant.

Buckley was wrong but at least he wasn't stupid.
