No post season play for two seasons including this one. Ouch

It also says termination of the Canadian grant (financial aid) program for both schools but it doesn't say how long. I would say that might be the worse case scenario.

With my second read I also can't tell if they are disallowed from post season play for two years or just this one. Probation is two years however.

I wonder if this will lead to a mass exodus of players from these two programs next season.

My second read is making me think they will be eligible for postseason next year, but what you've written above is my major concern.

No playoffs this year and the programs get to be watched like a hawk for the next two years thanks to the probation.

The SUNY Playoffs this year are only going to be six schools and should do it just like the old days with the top two seeds getting byes into the semis.

Says they have imposed a one year post-season ban but indicates, "Two years of probation from January 28, 2010, through January 27, 2012"

I am guessing the are not eligible this year and then will be "watched" under their probation period for next year and the beginning of the following year. Any unfortunate circumstances would then lead them to be disqualified again I would think judging by that?

So this is the reason Utica College doesen't give Financial aid to students outside the United States ;)

I know the SUNYAC coaches have some sort of unofficial verbal agreement not to take top players from each others teams. I remember hearing about it after the Kevin Galan departure at PSU. He left PSU cause it was too expensive and Geneseo offered a better aid package.

It will be interesting to see if the other SUNYAC coaches keep their word on this agreement.
