in case you missed it (probably did)...husky fan dan has BU to big ten in next wave of conference realignment. needs to stop sniffing glue.

I have no idea who husky fan dan is but personally I was holding out for joining the Pac-12 with ASU starting hockey and all.

There's a reason HFD doesn't post/(I think) was banned from the main UConn boards.

not that i should give it any credence but you guys would know better than me. Notre Dame has the money to make playing in Hockey East work. I wouldn't think a program like BU would have the money to make the Big Ten work considering you don't have power 5 hoops or football.

I would think the money that makes that work for Notre Dame comes at least partially from the Football program. BU flying all their teams out to play Big 10 teams instead of busing to places like Holy Cross and Army sounds a lot more expensive. And why would the Big 10 want BU without Football?

The ONLY way this makes 1/8 sense is how Johns Hopkins is an associate or something in lacrosse.
Perhaps if that big 10 conf wanted to add teams to their hockey offering, they could add a school without football like a BU - since our school wouldn't be looking to piggyback in anything else.
However, we are an eastern school and should remain in an eastern conference.

Some quality BU and David Quinn ball washing on the National broadcast of Bruins-Wild. It even included Joe Sacco being responsible for The Avs rise last year.

I can't see any reasonable reason why he would do this, unless he just wasn't cutting it in class. Miss the Beanpot, the chance for some hardware in college hockey, for what - to play in the maritimes for 3 or 4 months? While playing against weaker competition. He is dominating in the NCAA, he would only do so more in the Q.

we've yet to hear from hoky, so this is all just speculation..... but mookie was told it may just be canadians being canadian and trying to rabble rouse our jr boys before the tournament.
