There is no section O

Looking forward to hunkering down in Section 12 on Friday. #OldFartsLoveMemoryLane

Anyone who has frequented women's games - care to comment on what "Upgrades" have taken place at WBA since the men's team last played there? When was it - December 2005? January 2006? Wow time flies.

10th anniversary of Agganis this year. Where ya been homes!!!?? Get with the program, will ya. :) (Season ticket holders even have a big *** ticket for the January 3rd game against Union to commemorate the occasion.)

Regarding the Poll: I would have voted for Harvard. *Shrug* When they lose to the USA <20 team they'll be back to #3. ;)

BU Hockey: Pole Fluffer

Re: BU season thread I - 2014-2015

Not that these things mean anything but, it really is at this point.

North Dakota split its series with Denver, Minnesota State blanked Princeton before surrendering to a flu outbreak and your Crimson had the weekend off and have only played a dozen games. Not the total stretch you're making it out to be.

I don't think we are the best team in the country, but given that we were #2 last week, and the #1 team lost and we won, I can see how we are back at number one.

That being said, the only reason Harvard is not #1 is because of how low they were predicted pre-season... although they have been moving up ever since.

The big question that no one has answered: Are they going to sell beer at this game? :)

And will beer be $8.03? :D

Re: BU season thread I - 2014-2015

I don't think they will be selling beer as the liquor license transferred to Agganis Arena when it opened (I think). They have an event that night so I don't think they could do a 1-day transfer, even if a 1-day transfer was available. I want to find out about parking.

The old beer closet thing was awesome!

Good question about parking.... old parking lot open? Park at Agganis and walk over?

I think it will be fun to be back in there!

No, the big question is whether YOU will be sporting the "Tater 'stache" in honor of the facial hair you used to wear during our Walter Brown days. Also Dave will wear the nacho stained jersey and I will get into a screaming match with Tiffany at T's after the game. ;)

- Yes, Harvard should be #1. BU deserves to be somewhere in the Top 5.
- Wish I could be at WBA Friday night. Too many other commitments. Grrr.
- Can we get Parker in the press box with a headset, for old times sake.;)
- I honestly would like to stand in that men's room line and have to squeeze through while others are trying to leave, just for the memories. 3,800 seats and what, 6 urinals in the place?
- I hope the fans there make the place rock. That old metal ceiling was great for the volume, that's for sure.

Has the WJ team ever had an exhibition before? I know their camp is here before they head to Montreal and admittedly I don't pay much attention but I can't recall them playing a college team. The U18 team, yes, but not the WJ.

Yes, they usually hold their camp at a college and play one exhibition against the team at the end of the camp.

I'm thinking New Balance lot. They'll probably charge $10 like the garage, but it's closer.

It's a nice lot and not warped anymore :) . I suspect all the parking lots that are open each game night will be open on Friday. Looks like the Friday night show at Agganis is far from a sellout so I don't think parking will be an issue. The New Balance lot has plenty of spaces left during games at Agganis.

Now it is becoming clear to me... this didn't come about because of how cool it would be to return to Walter Brown... this is all about maximizing profits. Playing in WBA is an afterthought once they booked Disney on Ice, otherwise this game would be at Agganis.

When I took my kids to see the Disney thing last year, parking was $25. We should prepare ourselves for parking prices to be bumped up (at least if you try to park in the Agganis lot).

How many cars does the New Balance lot hold? Is it expanded in size since the old days of Walter Brown?

I would suspect that not be the case, USA Hockey is holding the camp at WBA all week after all.

Here's an answer from an email this afternoon:

"PARKING ADVISORY
Ticket holders for the BU vs. USA game on Friday are advised to park at the Babcock Street Garage (Lot B). The parking rate at the Babcock lot will be $10. Please note that this parking rate will not be available at Agganis Arena due to Disney On Ice. View parking map."
