Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

Someone on the UML thread said he threw a tantrum. Right. A tantrum. The biggest game of the year, a close, emotion-filled game, with everything this kid has had on shoulders for the previous week, and season for that matter. Gets called for a penatly and he can't show any emotion? JFC. These are the same fans who take issue with the amount of coverage he's received.

They're Lowell fans. They still have issues with 2009.

Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

Worse
Worse
Worse
And. Worse
:D

F'burg suffers from having a BU hard as their mayor :p

Yes, you made my point. There is no comparison with any of those other courses. But how can that be? Usually one of the best courses in the state would be in a "nice" town. :D

Her problems go WAY beyond being a BU graduate. But we won't get into that (or bore everyone here...) And the problems started way before her...they started in the 70s when all the jobs started going overseas as in all the other "mill" towns (Lawrence, Lowell, Worcester, Greenfield, Chicopee, Springfield, Fall River, Brockton, Athol, New Bedford, Haverhill, North Adams)

Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

But wait...according to your "preferences" you should love her, right? :D

Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

Trying to think of plays that stood out and one was grizzlick (i think)...had a great chance to shoot in gillies in 3rd and curled away and ended up passing puck. I may not have all details right but it stiod out to me like wow i hate the people who just yell shoot but i cannot believe he didn't fire away there

face off coverage on winning goal was 1000 times worse. 0/3 from your 3 top players

Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

I think you guys would have to agree that most of the complaining about eichel/the attention he gets is from other fans, not BC fans.

A lot of it has to do with jealousy. Up until the clock strick 0 i thought eichel would make a play to tie the game. I see a kid who is relentless backchecking and does it without taking penalties. Have i seen him get frustrated from time to time? Sure but you want to try and get under his skin to take him off his game. Haven't noticed the crosby like whining...yet ;)

Of course.
Vesper is one of the best courses in MA
Worcester CC is always a treat to play.
Thorny Lea... List goes on and on.

I would love to have someone come to f'burg and buy us out to put in a housing development ---- but projects usually don't comand a $$ premium :)

Yeah, but you're a Pittsburgh guy. You don't have the sentimental attachment that I do. You just wouldn't believe what a thriving, progressive, industrial city it once was. Business and community leaders, artisans, philanthropists, scientists, engineers, doctors, inventors, industrialists, leaders. But everything has its time. I'll stop here because I don't want to get into politics right now. I'm sure this same story can be told in hundreds of communities across this country. All part of the new world order...you have to knock off the guy on top and subjugate him before you can control the world...and we're the last bastion of freedom and independence left. And for all of you who are laughing at Fitchburg, don't laugh too long, because you're next. When all your industry and jobs have left and are replaced by welfare offices (yeah, even you elitists who think it "can't happen here"), you won't even know what hit you. Right out of the Marx playbook. Take away their ability to resist and they will become obedient and docile. Then we're got 'em. Make 'em all serfs and they'll be beholden to us and dependent upon us forever...and, as an added bonus, they won't be a threat to us either because we will have taken their will away, which is better than taking away their guns. Yup...just sit by and watch as history repeats itself...again. Numbers always win...that's why they're afraid of us. "Barbarians at the gates," they call us. Suppress us now, before it's too late. The problem is, now, with technology, it's become impossible to stop them. Are you listening, Cambridge? Wipe that smug look off your face, because they'll be coming for you next.

what does worcester cc have to do with the trailer park known as fitchburg

kind of like saying that because the country club in brookline makes dorchester a great city

Worcester ain't f'burg, for sure. But it's closer to it than it is to Boston.

Mookie was saying it is a run down city with an outstanding golf club.

And you are just the type of elitist who I was describing in the previous post. You think you're so smart...you get all the poor people to vote for you to perpetuate your power and once you have that you kick them to the curb. So if you're so well off, why don't you do something to improve our country instead of denigrating those who are less fortunate? Moron. If Fitchburg is a trailer park then you're the dog crap that I almost stepped in this morning.

Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

And no one ever set foot in that thread again.

It's one thing to be an "instigator." Sometimes that's fun. But this is disturbing, especially when we already have a president who fosters this kind of class warfare crap. Pitting the haves against the have nots...the blacks against the whites....the rich against the poor. He's feeding right into that nonsense. I don't get the vitriol. What is he so angry about? If he's as well off as he implies (I mean, he can't be "poor" if he is making fun of towns that are going through some tough times), he should be smug and happy. And his team just won. I'm the one who should be angry, since I live in the worst hellhole on earth according to him. How did I even get the money to go to these games? Oh...I must have stolen it from my drug dealer.

Jesus, you get trolled so easy it is embarrassing. You should sit out the next few plays, champ.

Re: BU season thread 4 - 2014-15 // destiny's children

Well this thread sure went off the rails faster than BU's 3rd period in the title game. Yikes.

Take this crap to the lounge.

Yeah, but I made my point (won't say I got my point "across" because some morons will never "get it")
