BU Hockey '24-'25: Reloaded for another Frozen Four run

I didn't realize (or maybe I knew at one time) that BU played the 1975 Frozen Four in St Louis. It didn't turn out well losing to eventual champion Michigan Tech 9-5 in the semifinal. Only the Terriers' 5th loss of the year. 50 years ago - wow!

I'm excited and nervous for tomorrow. Fully expecting we get routed out in the first round of this thing though.
I think we are all both nervous and excited. It all hinges on whether the Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde team shows up. There is no margin for a lazy, sloppy period at this juncture. And no room for dumb penalties. I, however, am optimistic that this has finally sunk in.

While a nerve wracking day of anticipation for most here, my blood pressure won't increase until the game begins. Terriers are one of four teams still playing for the third consecutive year. Enjoy the experience. Go BU!

Would be great if the more senior players just go out and control this one. We have the great young ones, but in the past sometimes in this stage that kind of player struggles. It’s always possible they are not bothered by it and have some great performances, but need guys like Ryan Greene and Quinn Hutson to really make this happen. Need Lachance to make a big impact down low and cause havoc. And of course, how will Big Mike handle it? Nervous and excited is exactly how I feel as well.

The first game should be very entertaining. Planning on taking that one in as well.

Big Mike doing hot tonight against the shots in the first. I like our chances now that we're past the first period.

Penn state doesn't look near as fast as they did v. Maine.
