This is false, but were it not false, it would be because BU decided to stop playing the sport at a competitive level.

why are youze guys willingly assuming the missionary position? It's a rivalry game and just because youze think that youze suck doesnt mean that it's a 14-1 game or what eva youze are spewing out. I aint buying, it is BU we are playing , at least i think it is

Any other year I throw records out the window. This is not any other year. BC 8 BU 1. The only reason it doesn't get more out of hand is Jerry dials it back.

You know we can only dress 16 skaters on Friday right?

Id guess 13.5 won't happen because Jerry will take the foot off the gas before that point, but I bet they could do it of they really wanted to.

This game is over before it even starts.

With new lines and all, hopefully BC comes to bury the evil empire. But I'll take a 1-0 win.

On NESN but a 7:00 start?

Too bad the one benefit of a televised game was that I had an extra 30 minutes to get to campus on a Friday night.

BTW people were saying traffic was absolutely brutal getting to Conte last Friday, with 2 more sellouts this weeked just a heads up

7:00 starts are good for all of us who have to put kids to bed after the game.

Oh good grief, you reproduced? I don't think I can take Nick Jr. joining these boards in a few years...

I'm picking BU. Yeah yeah they suck, but if there is a game they are going to get up for it's this one, and the Eagles maybe a little over confident heading into this one... at least they should be. Also, if they do in fact win I can claim credit for breaking the story...right Hoky

I'm not sure there could be a more insulting thing to the fans than for BU to win this game. We're talking about "getting up for a game"? How about getting up for every other game (or any other game)? I don't understand why they shouldn't be expected to play with intensity every game when they are becoming a joke. Why should the idea of losing to BC be so much more abhorrent than going winless in their last six games or losing to Dartmouth, Merrimack, Harvard, and Bentley. I don't disagree with you, but I can't understand why they are so apathetic about losing to garbage teams, but when they play BC (even though it really doesn't matter if they win anymore) they decide to play. It won't surprise me if they win, but it will make me dislike this team even more. That said, I don't think BU goes 10 consecutive minutes at any point in this game without giving up a goal. Two goals in the first 10 minutes for BC. 8-1 final.

won't surprise you if BU wins? i think it would surprise everyone else. on paper, this should be something like a 5-1 win for BC.

I went to the PC game last Friday night, and didn't have an issue with traffic. I entered from the Comm. Ave. side after taking Beacon St. and some side streets to avoid Newton Centre and cut over to Comm. Ave. This was in the 6-6:30 time range, so maybe it got bad closer to game time?

Avoiding Newton Centre was the key. It was a mess.

Waterville, ME heh? I lived there back when Rummels Ice Cream, the Silent Woman Restaurant, and the Chez Paree (night club) were still around. That was a longggggggg time ago. :)
