Looking forward to the game tonight. I think we have to be the favorite with the results thus far this season, but that matters not. It’s BU-BC. Let’s get it on!!!
 
Not watching the game but saw the box score at the end of 2. Did both teams pull their goalies?
 
Not sure who will win but Drew C looks out of it and actually doesn't look like he's ever even played goalie. His positioning, timing reminds me of mite hockey games at 7am at the old BU rink. I would have taken him out, even though the score is close. Anybody agree?

he definitely doesn’t look 100%. Since he was out last week with an illness I am going on that it’s related. Vinny had to play 3rd.
 
This game is literally making me ill. Does anyone (on either side) want to cover anyone? Reminds me of Beanpot games from the early 90s in the Garden. I agree Commesso looks out of sorts a bit. Some shots were lasers, but not all. I think a game like this makes goaltenders wonder why they are even out there. Not what I was expecting at all.

Ok they changed at the start of the 3rd which was logical..
 
How would I describe that game? Non-championship style hockey. Pond hockey? I was getting very high on this team. Need to digest it quickly and get back to work. Frustrating…

Jerry York night. Commesso not right. A wheel came off. No worries.

As Ted Lasso would say…. Be a goldfish.
 
Not a good sign that they couldn’t put up a decent effort against their chief rival. Even when BC is slightly average they have BU’s number. It would be easier to “dismiss” or “move on” if it wasn’t BC can’t be that cavalier. Commesso puked all over himself un fortunately demoralized the team.
 
More later, but man, that game was totally bananas.

Fun atmosphere. Conte’s a dump. (They’re building a basketball only arena?)
 
Drew should not have started, wasn't healthy. That game is very, very different if Vinny gets the start in net. Mistake by the coaching staff.

No, BC is not building a basketball only arena, it's a practice facility for their BB team.

Agreed. I get it but from what I hear drew wasn’t close to 100% and was in the hospital for an illness and just got cleared and didn’t practice all week. Still the defense in front of him was awful no matter who played net. Can’t play like that.

Yep. At least three of those goals were ridiculously soft and out of character for Drew to give up. His movement was slow, reactions were sluggish, not to mention he got crashed into in the first period so that likely only made it worse. While the team D in front of him was also bad, it wasn't give up 8 goals bad. Vinny had better be in net tomorrow.

I agree start Vinny tomorrow and let drew recover. They don’t play again until the 30th so that works out.
